12/10/2020 09:30 | What we can safely deduce from last weeks reaction was that the market was planning on 'selling the news', REGARDLESS of the content. I imagine that even if the company had released groundbreaking results and with a phase III partner locked and loaded, we would, in all probability now be bemused and bemoaning why we're only sitting at say.... 220p.......and all of us would be calling for a NASDAQ listing a little louder. In the absence of such groundbreaking news, there was really no headroom in the share price, as those who would have bailed anyway, bailed; those weaker holders who would have probably held, sold; those with stops in place got triggered......and in the face of it, all without an outright strong enough reason for the market to sufficiently counteract and buy aggressively. So what is the reality? As it stands, the results have given 4D enough reason to design a phase 3 for IBS (good news in itself, if not of the instant gratification kind) and I fully believe the company will do just that and complete one......and, in time, with a partner in place. The content of the last few minutes of the recent webinar give you every reason to think that a partner will be found and the company has stated strong interest from major players within this space. Either that is an outright lie, or it is a factual and an honest reflection of what is happening. I'm inclined to believe the latter. It's worth noting that the the reaction within the press - especially the specialist pharmaceutical press (who are more remote to and detached from the company's share price and finances) ALL reported 4D's progress in IBS in a very positive light. Again, another point which I think has been overlooked and not commented on is that the recent results showed that Blautix has provided benefit on a level with current prescription drugs for the same indication, but with a strong safety profile and without negative side effects. Whilst the phase II did not provide the market with instant gratification, it probably had provided the company with enough data to design a very good phase III from which much more convincing results can be obtained. Greater patient compliance will also be looked at, and as I posted pre-results, completing a phase III without the stressful emergence of a global pandemic mid way through should also help bring a better data set. Personally I believe the market has overreacted and we're oversold. It may take a while for that to be absorbed and realised but as we move ever closer to other developments, the market will be on the value hunt once again and will begin to appreciate plenty of it at 4D. I will not list those points here and what can be expected before the end of the calendar year (let alone the major developments that may flow out of the U.S. in Q1 2021) because regular contributors here know all too well exactly what all those are. But my guess is some side-track from here before the potential all gets bought up again. AIMO and ADYOR. | realist1950
12/10/2020 09:15 | Thanks Stig. The Covid trial will be picking up pace again with large increase in cases. Be a bonus to get news on that this side of Xmas. | blueblood

12/10/2020 08:20 | Wait till 9am when the big boys get up, then we will see where we are going. Post I seen on LSE over the weekend by someone who is impartial and just looking at the charts. pawnsacrifice Posted in: DDDD Posts: 1,952 Price: 109.00 No Opinion RE: Charts, etc.10 Oct 2020 14:44 Not up on this share Krysty but from first look it would seem you need to read up a bit more on the different types of gaps. Not all gaps have to close, those that do are called common gaps these look to have had a breakaway/runaway gap on high volume which doesn't necessarily have to close and is more likely(imo) to become support. Can already see that top of the gap was support Fri would suggest its likely to remain so esp given this was breakout level from the previous range giving fair credence to the breakaway gap scenario imo. Shame can't do charts on lse, bit of a weakness on the forum there. | s_murray
12/10/2020 08:15 | Negativity by those wanting in. This has been way oversold and remember big directors buys at 50p. This will rise over next few weeks. | nicbw01
12/10/2020 08:13 | 80p area? Seen people tweeting about it. Rather it just happen so we can crackOn after ffs lol | gooner1886

12/10/2020 08:10 | The AIM market is littered with many failures many times over compared to successes is it any wonder that most playing the game will bank profit and move on. Very few make money on AIM by buying and holding. Most AIM stocks tend to zero pence eventually especially with dilution after dilution with many directors pocketing salaries way bigger than their companies should be paying. | katsy
12/10/2020 07:57 | Well folks, new week, new start. Wonder what will come next...oncology news, a Covid update, something totally unexpected about vaccines, something we don't even know about yet, US listing...Lots of possible near term sources of positive news, just needs a bit of perspective here | donald pond

11/10/2020 21:49 | Could he not have simply held - he may not have any extra funds to buy more - then sold, as he said. Goodness cut the fella some slack. I don’t read it as “look at me”, I think he is saying I got lucky - phew - and still hold some long term | ovenman
11/10/2020 21:19 | Sick note on the 9/10 you posted no funds to purchase then on the 10/10 you say you sold 50k at £1.58 So doesn’t quite add up never mind as long a you believe | best1467
11/10/2020 20:32 | By a strange quirk of fate, back in South Yorkshire, a spokesman for the highly regarded and much loved "no win-no fee" Legal Firm, Irwin Mitchell Solicitors, in Sheffield, confirmed: "Yes, it's true, throughout September we've been inundated by angry investors from all parts of the UK, who've been duped and misled into buying 4D Pharma shares at inflated prices, based on factually inaccurate information - some losses are HUGE " He added, "we've seen evidence of this mis-selling and there is definitely a case to answer here but we do NOT blame 4D Pharma PLC, it's Directors or anybody connected with the company itself for this mis-selling" The sole responsibility lies, with a delusional little man on ADVFN using various aliases including CHESS123, CHRISTH and MILLENIAL INVESTOR" cue the music 😂 👮a | ukneonboy
11/10/2020 18:18 | Market reaction to the IBS news is last weeks news. I can understand people saying the drop in the share price was over done, it was because the news wasn't bad ! Looking forward people will see sense and realise once again the potential in DDDD and what it is bringing to the table in the world of cutting edge medicine ! | thepaddedcell |
