26/4/2007 10:24 | Thats corrected itself now we have shot to 88p mid. Is the meeting over? | alwaysbanking
26/4/2007 10:00 | That last 1/4p drop from 87p is floating accross the time frame started at 9.50am. | alwaysbanking
26/4/2007 09:55 | MM's after some sellers - still dropping the price to entice. | alwaysbanking
26/4/2007 09:50 | following the press article dated 21.04.07: in the Telegraph which reported: SR Pharma rose 3.25p to 88p amid talk of a collaboration deal with a pharmaceutical company, which could see it taking a 10% stake in SR. It is thought the pharmaceutical business would pay between 90p to 110p for its stake, but this will not be announced until after Thursday's extraordinary general meeting. From AB what does the statement 'will not be announced until after EGM' really mean 12 midday, 2pm, 4pm, or sometime within the next 12 months. My guess pretty imminently after the EGM - Today. So MM's might after all, get caught with their trousers down. | alwaysbanking
26/4/2007 09:33 | Yes AB that is what the MMs have done up to now. But they may be a tad nervous that something unexpected might come out of the meeting,if nothing does then I would not be surprised to see a fall back to give the T20/25 boys a tough time before moving back up sharply. Just my opinion for what it is worth. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I should have closed my T20 at 90p+ and bought back in next week.....we shall see. | geoffmanana
26/4/2007 09:26 | Artemis Fund Manager's Comment as of December 2006. During the month good performance was generated by the holding in SR Pharma, a company with excellent patent positions in RNA gene silencing technology. The company's lowly UK rating stands in stark contrast to US equivalents, and a catalyst in the shape of Merck's $1.1bn bid for Sirna, whose RNA pipeline is still at an early stage, provided the impetus for a sharp rerating of SR. From AB at that stage SRA was No 2 in their top 10 holdings with 4.3% of the funds total invested in in our company. I think a tick up is due. | alwaysbanking
26/4/2007 08:58 | The outcome is a sure thing the shareholders will authorise the 10% and the name change. MM's will take advantage prior to EGM to slide the price down to pick up some cheap shares and then after the EGM price will shoot back upto the levels we have seen before. | alwaysbanking
26/4/2007 08:51 | I know the EGM is today but at 8.48am not 1 share traded when i first looked i wondered whether they were suspened but checked level 2 and they all quoting, is everyone hanging on the outcome of the meeting. | billys boots

25/4/2007 19:57 | what are we looking for tomorrow?..i think a weaker day,as i don't expect any mind blowing statements...however weak sellers will be mopped up by those who know what's coming. it's my firm belief, that sr will be between £1.10- £1.25,at some point in may. tomorrow..will be the start of the end game.don't cut and run too soon.even if they hit £1+ over the next few weeks, keep a good position. before this year is out,you will see the end game...it WILL have a £ sign before it...the only debate is what number will follow the £ sign....most of my acquantances are expecting at LEAST a 2 to follow it. | graham browns dad
