two scenarios perhaps for October - fund managers like the company so buy from holders, in which case demand will drive share price up . Or holders look to sell in market, share price drops and good opportunity for PI's to get in. Or of course holders dont sell at all ! If company is doing as well as we think I see version 1 and bought today at 32p - if it drops I will top up. Either way spread should narrow as more shares available.

So, I guess that have priced in that come October those who are desperate will sell for whatever they can get .. and afer a discrete pause share price will move back towards market value? If the MMs drive it too low some ?like us? will jump in earlier...but does not look like we are there yet!

I wonder if the funds talk to the 'magnificent 29' and propose a price?

original 29 shareholders are locked in until 18 Oct 2011, then an "orderly arrangement" whatever that means - so PI's only have 10% at moment. You would need to look at admission doc.
P/E 2012 = 4 look great - and company has been profitable for 7 years, despite the fact that recurring income is low - but improving..
Very tempted to buy if I can get any at 30p ish
I hold Getech at a good profit - take a look.

Can't help you on the staff shares, lossleader. Agree the spread though, but then again there's never any volume to test it.

Is there some sort of lock in for staff who were awarded shares when this came to AIM? When does it expire? The spread makes it most unatractive to trade. ll

I agree. I think its the current malaise and sentiment in the markets. But has to be a safe haven as the financial crisis is still high risk.

Yeah, I know about the p/e which is ridiculous. They haven't disclosed figures for the French deal. But, when you begin to add them all up with peer comparison, i.e UK Ord. Survey. Its silly as you say. They are recurring too, as we're in a niche market. I read somewhere the French are working with Spain on similar projects, I guess economies of scale, sharing knowledge etc.

We could be a prime leader in the European market, never mind Australisia, globally etc... We're just at the beginning, I'd hope a divi further down the road unless they want further acquisitions.

The feeling is mutual. It's good to be unloved. :)

Yes Anointed I've been keeping abreast of news, don't think anyone apart from us is though. Growth Equities issued some estimates earlier this year as follows:-

2011: Revenue 8500 PBT 670 EPS 5.44
2012: Revenue 9780 PBT 1510 EPS 8.25

If they're right the 2012 PER is just 4 which is silly but I think we'd better see if the numbers for this year come in ok first. At least there are no rampers here, it's too unloved.:)

Paleje,

I don't know if you've read the RNS's. But, they've just secured another contract with French equivalent to UK and Ireland Ordnance Survey.

They are cash generative, strong pipeline, and recurring multiple revenues. I'll be topping up too, when it settles at a floor.

Looks like its just you and I. :)

And still sliding, reaffirmation of the French connection didn't do much. I think we'll need a trading statement Jul/Aug prior to results before anyone takes notice. Can't blame people for holding back, SPA's transition to AIM was a damp squib and they haven't recovered from it. I'd like to add but I'll wait for the trading statement first.

Agreed. I'm hoping as year end is June, we can put the costs of listing behind us and get beefed up forecasts for FY12/13. What with the new contracts, takeover of Lagen which will be immediately accretive, and pending deals in the pipeline, we should be multiples of current share price

Dipped your toe in the water ashtree2, good luck, pity the spread's so daft but I think before the year's out we might be looking back at what was a bargain price.

Yes I remember TW's video, casual as ever, but the backup research was poorly explained and nobody trusted it including me. Still, things change and actions prove louder than hangover videos and weak research presentation.

Given t1ps rated them as a strong buy and their 'Share of the Month' in October at 72p I'm surprised TW is not 'hoovering them up' at these levels.

This company seems to be overlooked/ distrusted since its AIM debut last year with poorly explained prospectus yet so far they are doing what they have set out to do. Looking at their RNS's this year:-

12/01 -- Framework agreement with Ordnance Survey UK, intial value 595k, increasing to 1m+

20/01 -- Trading Statement on track

03/03 -- Heads of Agreement to buy Australian company Lagen Spatial
growing demand in Oz + access to wider Asia Pacific region

22/03 - Interims announced in line with guidance of 20/01 as promised
Planning SaaS development
Planning centres of excellence Cambridge, Sydney, Cork
European mainland next strategic target

15/04 -- Acquisition of Lagen Spatial concluded
No dilution, earnings enhancing

19/04 -- Contract win Ordnance Survey Ireland
Multi year contract worth in excess 1m euros

T1ps rate them (admittedly their group prepared them for market).
They have a niche market.
They are cash generative.
They have quality clients.
They have looked to Australia/ Asia Pacific for overseas expansion before tackling Europe.
So far they seem do deliver what they promise.

If they continue to deliver in line with or ahead of the figures forecast by T1ps they could be looking undervalued.

'The photo here shows what can go wrong if you do not have accurate and consistent mapping data. This is just one area where 1Spatial, a newcomer to AIM in October 2010, can help its clients. The Spatial Data Software market is worth over £1.5 billion per annum and 1Spatial is well positioned to take a growing share of this market'

The above comment accompanies the picture and a detailed and interesting article is included in AimZine. I cannot paste it because their copyright rule is very explicit but anyone interested in this stock can sign up with them, it's free and they carry some interesting features. wwww.aimzine.co.uk

I hold these now, after denigrating them on their AIM intro last year. They look more likely to achieve what they suggested in their prospectus now and, if they do, for the year beginning July 2011 would be on a P/E of under 5. They are also moving more of their business to the SAAS model which will further improve profitability.

They are clearly still unloved and might drift lower still but long term I think they might perform.

If Whingerfrith really believed his hype he would be filling his boots for his growth fund at these levels. He was ramping this at 72p to his subscribers just months ago! They are sitting on large % losses.

Loss per share of 16.2p plus several massive one off costs regarding reverse takeover and business reorganisations.

Sounds a great investing opportunity
