Lucibel Wins the Ile-de-France « 2014 Innovation Talents » Trophy

On July 10, the INPI awarded Lucibel with the « 2014 Innovation Talents - Ile de France » trophy from among a selection of regional companies. This award will now enable the company to compete for the INPI's national « 2014 Innovation Talents » trophies. 

Each year the French Intellectual Property Institute (INPI) rewards French SMEs and laboratories who distinguish themselves by using industrial property to support their development strategy. Lucibel, the LED lighting expert, was chosen from among a large number of companies in the greater Paris area to receive this trophy.

Innovation is indeed at the heart of Lucibel's strategy, and the company devotes over 5% of its turnover to R&D, having already filed 22 patents in the past three years. The protection of its intellectual property was also one of the key reasons behind Lucibel's decision to relocate a portion of its manufacturing activities to France in its new Barentin plant.
