Given the obvious sensitivity of the result I would imagine that the registrars will be double and triple checking the outcome - they may have even appointed a firm of accountants to act as independent adjudicator.
We could be waiting a while!

Sold a Tranche of these @ 1231.3 on 26th August 2008 when the offer was made. One of my better decisions.

Agreed webb2000 - have been in since April/May 04. Don't think I could survive any other roller coasters like this at the level of exposure I have had.

June 2005 was my entry point into IEC. If ONGC know the result now it would make sense for them to be buying anything that goes in the market, it will save them money. The share price will begin to act like any other takeover where it hovers just below the bid price as the offerer mops up cheap shares.

I first bought IEC in March 2007. At 1270p!

Damn good job I didn't hold.

1171-1180p. Still some profit takers. Can't blame them, closing an account trade in profit now is worth not taking the few extra percent by holding on for a couple of weeks.

Let's face it: even if we don't get 90%+ ONCG are going to look mighty silly if they pull at out at e.g. 85%+ acceptance aren't they?
