yuka,it was a sensible choice you made it is not a crime to lock in profit stay safe and not be greedy.
However Iec were ahead of the game and could see chaos as many could have had similar thoughts and end up scuppering the deal.
Thats why they provided the trading faciliity !!!
So that we could all play by ear untill the last minute.

Sorry but under the circumstances it was irresponsible and selfish not to pledge.

adg - because I didn't want to lock myself in and not be able to trade them especially if they don't get 90% and the price plummets in seconds (unlikely I know but possible.)

Davius explained earlier why its at 1120. Much higher and people would sell to avoid the two week wait. Once announcement is made straight to 1250p. Then,who's gonna buy at that price, until they are delisted?

Well good luck chaps. I've sold all my holding now as not worth risk for last 10%. I didn't accept with my shares and presumably whoever bought them didn't either in the time available. Still think most likely will go through but you never know.

yesterday I spoke to 1 of the other brokers as I normally deal with the manager and I wanted to roll at 1060ish becaase I have a trade [pledged] that is to close on Monday.He found it so complicated that he phoned the manager and the manager said best do nothing as you will have your money in a few days!
Believe or not no prob !
Time will tell.

No reason why anybody should not still buy or sell for that matter even though the 1.00 deadline has passed !
