The Brazilian economy is still growing … Just ..!

Gross domestic product (GDP) grew 0.9% during the year according to (IBGE) the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics.

It had been expected to / predicted to grow by 4.5% growth.

Dilma Rousseff our President is to get things going with tax cuts and low interest rates. Sadly its seems not enough. In fact it was mainly the last few months that got us into growth at all. The year before 2011 we managed growth of 2.7% and moved ahead of the UK to become the world’s sixth-biggest economy. But now it looks like we will have slipped back to seventh place as the UK grew by 0.2%.

Well at least we are not the only Bric’s country having this type of problem Russia, India and China are all seeing GDP growth slowdown.

I hope the sun is not setting on Brazilian growth..!
