Cypress Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ:CY): The stock is currently trading at $10.05, down 9.05 percent. The stock oscillated in the range of $9.91 and $10.78 in the current trading session.

Cypress Semiconductor reported disappointing preliminary results for its fourth quarter of the year. The company expects its fourth quarter earnings to be in the range of 3 to 4 cents per share. Its revenue is likely to be between $177 million and $179 million, lagging behind the consensus estimate of $193.4 million in revenue. Analysts also expected the company’s EPS to be at 14 cents per share. In the past 52 weeks, the stock’s price range has been $8.70 and $19.25.  Cypress Semiconductor reported its latest EPS at $0.20. The company stock’s Price Earnings ratio stands at 49.02. Cypress Semiconductor commands the market capitalization of $1.43 billion. The company is involved in the business of designing and marketing programmable solutions. It is based out of San Jose.

Acuity Brands Inc. (NYSE:AYI): The company stock is trading down after the report of its low first quarter numbers. Its profit for the first quarter dropped 13 percent. It also took $5.5 million in shutdown charges. Its stock traded in the range of $63.00 and $65.73 in the current trading session and at this point is at $63.25, down 8.29 percent.  It is trading below its 20 days moving average price of $63.69. Acuity Brands’ net sales for the first quarter stood at $481.1 million, up 1.4 percent, while its net income dropped 13 percent to $26.1 million. Alcatel Lucent (NYSE:ALU): The stock is trading 7.84 percent lower, at $1.59. Alcatel Lucent commands market capitalization of $3.56 billion and its stock has traded in the range of $0.91 and $2.66 in the past 52 weeks. The stock is down despite being removed from the Conviction Sell list of Goldman Sachs. However, Goldman is still bearish about the stock, which is currently trading above its 20 days moving average price of $1.58 and in line with its 50 days moving average price of $1.59. The company stock’s beta is 2.02. It had reported its latest Earnings per Share at $0.49. Alcatel Lucent is a communications and networking company. It provides its services to corporate and government clients. The company is based out of Paris and it was established in 1898.

Fusion io Inc. (NYSE:FIO): The company stock is currently trading at $19.38, down 8.59 percent from its previous close of $21.20. Fusion io plunged after receiving rating cut from William Blair. The stock’s new rating is Market Performer, down from Outperformer. The research firm cited low demand growth as the main reason for rating cut. Fusion io stock had opened at $20.20 and has traded in the range of $19.11 and $20.32 in the current trading session. The stock reported its latest Earnings per Share at -$0.10. Fusion io develops and markets storage memory platforms. It has various products such as ioFX and ioDrive in its portfolio. It was earlier known as Fusion Multisystems Inc. and it changed its name in 2010. The company is based out of Utah. Fusion io was established in 2005.

Yum Brands Inc. (NYSE:YUM): The stock fell on the news of chicken product warning. Yum Brands expects its same store sales to fall in China due to the scare. Its new estimate for fall stands at 6 percent, up from previous estimate of 4 percent decline in sales. The stock is trading at $64.76, 4.61 percent lower than its previous close. It has traded in the range of $64.40 and $65.43 in the current trading session.  Yum Brands commands market capitalization of $29.25 billion. It has traded 7.646 million shares so far, in comparison to its daily average trading volume of 4.16 million shares. The company stock trades at Price Earnings ratio of 19.03 and its beta is at 0.68. The stock has traded in the range of $59.58 and $74.75 in the past 52 weeks.
