26/4/2024 07:21 | Nigeria's naira rebounds sharply after bumper interest rate rises | cfro
25/4/2024 11:24 | Naira down 24% vs GBP in 5 days PZC up 13% in last 5 days Naira up 5% vs GBP over a month | darrin1471
24/4/2024 15:43 | Feels the right strategy moving forward; £160M to £180M Gross Debt by YE 2024. Market Cap of £480M FT Reporting St Tropez brand could be worth circa £100M. Growing some core brands like child's farm / original source. | jimmywilson612
24/4/2024 10:20 | St Tropez should fetch a good price it's quite popular in the USA and I often see their products in Fund Grube when I'm in Tenerife. I wonder if the African businesses they are looking to sell is going to be the whole package or just the PZ Wilmar joint venture and the electrical business which is pretty non core. Maybe they want to keep the personal care business who knows? Whatever happens debt is likely to be reduced by a hefty amount although it doesn't look bad right now still plenty of headroom on their facilities I look forward to seeing PZ grow core brands like Carex, Original Source and Child's Farm across Europe. The share price should easily bounce back to £2 with a more streamlined business, and a portfolio of growing brands. | bedford1976
24/4/2024 09:57 | Exactly cfro. | dope007
24/4/2024 09:45 | A more simplified corporate and business structure is what they need. Especially in Nigeria. That would then make them much more attractive to a bidder.. | cfro
24/4/2024 08:47 | The trading statement has made my speculative buy at 84p look like a keeper for the longer term. May even add a small amount | dope007
24/4/2024 08:03 | You sound a bit desperate old boy roar | barnes4
24/4/2024 07:32 | Now selling off brands to raise cash and pay down debt.. Sounds like they are getting a little desperate. | cfro
23/4/2024 19:37 | sorry wrong thread | bubloo
23/4/2024 12:20 | based on the Nigerian stock exchange price of sepl at 3310 this should be priced at 2.17 big time arbitration opportunity does anyone know how to play it | bubloo
19/4/2024 11:20 | The Naira is now almost back to where it was at the end of the last accounting period, off by about 15-20% but the share price has almost halved. | justiceforthemany
17/4/2024 15:12 | Just purchased additional shares this morning at a good price. Trading update is next week. Not sure what to expect but things in Nigeria seem to be stabilising. | bedford1976
17/4/2024 11:12 | Has anyone asked IR why the Board are not buying? | justiceforthemany
14/4/2024 20:08 | JO Hambro - 9/4/24 There was further disappointment at PZ Cussons over the quarter as additional Naira devaluation extended the balance sheet mismatch of its gross and net cash balances whilst also limiting the company’s execution flexibility. We had proactively further reduced the position size prior to the bulk of this move, which helped limit the damage, and are actively engaging with the management around options to put themselves in greater control of their own destiny. | simon gordon
13/4/2024 15:23 | Chartwise PZC has been on a downtrend since 2011. What's the best hope, it crawls back to 200p? Risk reward doesn't look extraordinary. Yearly chart: free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | simon gordon
13/4/2024 07:45 | This, AAF and CABP plummeted, unjustly, due to the collapse in some currencies like the Nigerian naira. Now watch this share price rise. As the naira recovers... | hamhamham1
12/4/2024 14:22 | API my recent larger position - however as it's a possible wind up play, it's a more complex equity situation. API current discount to NAV now allows for a lot. Ive got 3 PZC producys in my house currently, so like what they do. | essentialinvestor
12/4/2024 14:20 | Dangote Refinery Wikipedia. | darrin1471
12/4/2024 14:08 | I don't hold APH, just to clarify - might possibly be an interesting recovery play, emphasis on might. SN. Is not helped by the quick succession of CEO's. Bid possibility perhaps. I don't hold Mobico and have not looked at the business in sometime. PCZ, I dont hold either atm, I've put it on a potential list, who no large BOD buying..?. | essentialinvestor
12/4/2024 14:04 | EI what are your views on Mobico/NEX, APH and SN? Seem to be hugely out of favour like PZ. | justiceforthemany
12/4/2024 14:02 | Still holding and the Naira has strengthened about 30% in one month but is still 40% weaker since the last reporting period. The share price is dead though. Sadly. Technicals are awful. | justiceforthemany
12/4/2024 09:51 | You're funny--it was an example to make the point about the size of the new refinery, because right now nigeria imports its fuel needs from europe. With the Dangote refinery, fuel imports to africa will be cut dramatically. | italianfinance |
