Stuffed by devaluation of the Naira
Not sure how much downside already anticipated in the share price
Suspect could be even more of a t/o target but regulatory concerns

I was rather hoping they would not cut the dividend.

ROW growth particularly China should have been gone for years ago then this problem in Nigeria would not have been such a big problem.

So roughly they are forecasting a 6p of earnings for the FY? So that puts it on 20x pe... I'm calling down 25 to 40pc

This definitely wasn't pricing in a dividend cut.

This could half today. People only own this for the dividend.. its not exactly a growth business

The kind of brands we own are worth an awful lot more than (£2 north) more like £4 - £5 per share. This business is seriously undervalued, and is being impacted by short term volatility. Happy to hold and collect my dividends.

Tomorrow difficult to call as probably large write off in Africa, but div maintained hopefully. Presume other regions x Africa doing okay. Directors should put up for sale & shareholders will exit over £2, but timing who knows?, could be this year if share price keeps falling. May announce review of all options tomorrow leading to a rally.

All about the Naira again.
The idiots should keep minimal cash there now only.
Any way they can benefit from the Naira devaluation - pay for costs and wages, raw materials from GBP/USD reserves?

Around £25m of funds were used to purchase the minority shareholding in Nigeria. The remaining funds could already have been repatriated.
In the medium to long term we have a projected market of 377m people in Nigeria. Keep the faith.

And an even smaller holding this morning.

Fifteen year low for the shareprice.

Wondered why share price weakness Naira has plunged again unfortunately. Looks like a kitchen sink job. PZC directors completely mismanaged FX over years leaving £200m in Nigeria now worth £50m if you are lucky to find a buyer.

PZ definitely oversold Naira difficulties were priced in at the £1.60 stage.
At least you can be reassured this is a secure business and it will bounce back for sure. Although I am slightly concerned it could become vulnerable although the Zochinis shareholding might deter.

You would think so..

The lower this goes the more vulnerable we are.

It's all about the Naira depreciation.
Underlying business is fine.

One day this will head north...... maybe ;-)

Nearly 5% on this fella now , if an unchanged dividend is paid.

Interim results on the 7th of February. I would expect steady progress and look forward to hearing progress on the rollout of Child's Farm overseas.
The other business activity is all about simplification mainly in Nigeria which ultimately will unlock value for shareholders. All these bits and bobs businesses reminds me of Lonrho so best they hack it all back core products.
Hopefully the Naira issues will be put to bed this year and sentiment moves on....I personally think PZ Cussins in a fantastic business but somewhat overlooked.
