18/6/2020 18:52 | It's pretty much a done deal! | outlawinvestor
21/5/2020 20:29 | I think the key risk was them not hitting the $40m condition for H2. However, the offer scheme document has it closing on 1st July when they are unlikely to even have management accounts for the period, which surely means that Ingredion are not too concerned about this. I see this now as a 90%+ chance of closing. Getting the cash on 14th July which helps the IRR too. | dangersimpson2
21/5/2020 16:15 | Still plenty of meat left on the bone here. 100p (less transaction costs) by end of June for 90p now - pretty good returns. Next key date is 18-Jun by which time the "discount" should be minuscule and after which it should disappear! | outlawinvestor
21/5/2020 15:12 | Well done. Maybe some thought covid would allow for a get out or something eg price down. | meijiman
21/5/2020 14:39 | Well only 8p away from offer price now and board still quiet. It was like watching a twenty pound note on the floor and everyone walking over it. I was the one who stooped down and picked it up. Easy money. | kickingking
29/4/2020 21:10 | This is currently like a high yield discount bond, price should tend towards par value as the deal progresses... And if the deal comes off it becomes a bond in default. | outlawinvestor
26/4/2020 23:21 | Well I've taken a position here, 25% to be made by just sitting on your hands. | kickingking
20/4/2020 12:07 | Yes..reminds me of Low and Bonar. Shares traded around 6p for ages but the deal completed at 15p. I always felt the Russian bloke who set this up was well dodgy. | meijiman
20/4/2020 11:35 | This one has got me a bit bamboozled at the moment. Essentially, subject to regulatory approval, Ingredion are offering 100p per share and yet the shareprice has been dropping since the suspension was lifted and continues to drop. As of 11:20am today, you can pick this one up for 74p! Money for old rope? However, there do appear to be few flies in the ointment. Ingredion can yank the offer if the supply assets and/or patents aren't kosher, there are material regulatory fines and/or penalties for past irregularities or sales for the six months ended 30 June are less than US$40m. Also, there is the real risk that the company might run out of funds before the deal can be completed. Tantalising but the market appears to be saying that it thinks there's currently less than 75% chance of this deal reaching completion! | thetrotsky
17/3/2020 20:40 | Still suspended ??!! I guess they wouldn't want them unsuspended in this current market. | yf23_1
28/11/2019 16:42 | Ah, ssuspended on 28th Oct, they should have suspended on 20th Sep. Now who was dumping between those dates ? "how certain other transactions have been constructed and/or reflected in the Group's accounting records. Some of these matters indicate potential impropriety. The Company and its professional advisers are now investigating these matters further, both to examine them fully and to quantify their potential impact. " | yf23_1
27/11/2019 16:12 | I suspect the CFO was pushed overboard, rather than jumping himself. | effortless cool
27/11/2019 15:50 | rats all jumping ship might not return at all | acliff
14/11/2019 10:41 | Gonna tank on the return, however this might just be a line in the sand. New CEO, good product and IP.One to watch but un-investable right now. (Literally) | hatfullofsky
01/10/2019 05:27 | This Co has a history of issues that are hidden internally. Stock writedown is latest....recall the 2016 " Customs" ban from USA for using stevia from prisoners? Debt is too large. Analysts too inexperienced or busy to question the CEO BS. sell | sweetspot
24/9/2019 17:10 | In fact they should have suspended on the 20th prior to the postponement RNS. | yf23_1
24/9/2019 17:09 | These shares should be suspended. You can't have these traded with no idea of the 'quantum' while the investigation takes weeks and leaves the share price open to insiders and manipulation. | yf23_1
23/9/2019 18:54 | Interesting shake down and bounce... | sbb1x
23/9/2019 10:09 | Falling heavily now. | bulltradept

20/9/2019 17:25 | Thank God... got out a few months back with a few pound profit | losses |
