I agree, it must be the only company to issue a 'materially below expectations' RNS and then go up 50% on no further news. I guess they have been doing the rounds promoting the 'story' and index buying plus maybe some short squeeze has caused the rise (although there is no notifiable short positions at the moment.) Given the net debt and lack of free cash flow the business is entirely reliant on the future support of it's banks. In the next global recession it could easily be a zero. How did you manage to short? - it has been unborrowable on IG for a while now.

Also I think the company capitalises its expenses such that what earnings it does make aren't actually cash that they could distribute as dividends. I haven't checked thoroughly but has it EVER generated positive free cash flow? DYOR as ever.

Why the big drop in the last few minutes of trading yesterday, Placing coming? Director sales?

As someone who uses stevia in tea I was interested in Coke Life, but I think reason its a basic failure is in the description. Contains one third less sugar than regular Coke. A third less, as in "still quite a lot". If you are in the business of wanting to cut out sugar from your diet, Coke Life just seems like a really bad deal when there's Coke Zero on the shelf next to it. My guess is also that if you are anti aspartame, you are probably anti processed sugar too, and are more like to get out of drinking coke all together and choose something else than a half way option like Life.

Is the problem the Stevia or trying to market 3 different sugar free brands. perhaps the public who have got used to one type of sugar free coke stick to it and do not want to change to another variety of sugar free coke. if it doesn't perform after a time there is no point in running 3 sugar free types where 2 will do. They will lose the people who refuse to consume aspartame.

Not encouraging for Purecircle. Coca Cola themselves couldnt make the stevia brand work. coke life being dropped in the UK hxxps://www.marketingweek.com/2017/04/06/coke-drops-coke-life-brand/ all the signs from the past year are that this company is in trouble. Shaun

Chunky director purchase yesterday. Will be sales momemtumum in all areas. Margins should be protected by efficiency of new plant. Is this attractive to predators at this point??

As a result of the us ban on Imports have the us customers switched to an alternative supplier or did they use up existing stocks in the country ? If they switched to an alternative supplier will they switch back to pure circle ?

No dividends at moment. Drop in profits on last report were put down to US border restrictions. Prior to that revenue was increasing each year.

Bought in here today on the strength of today's RNS & 5th Jan trading statement. Now doing more detailed research to determine what size of position to take. Can anyone shed any light on Dividend policy - or lack of! No mention of dividends in last Septembers results which is unusual for a relatively mature business like this? Thanks. GLA.

A clear case of Insider Dealing with a transatlantic connection - just like ITV last month. As usual, nothing will be done.

Ok so that makes sense - stock shifts up then the RNS the following day shows the U.S has released the shipments - so presumably the big money knew that already before the announcement - inside information alive and well then.

Seems like a very strong rebound from expected poor set of results driven by U.S situation. Anyone who can shed some light on it? Now well beyond level before results announced.

I was out yesterday and checked my account this morning. I was stopped out at 206p. I can't see that price having been reached anywhere yesterday. Was there a real spike down at some point?
