Beaumont Select Corporations Inc. Announces Option Grant to New Officer

Beaumont Select Corporations Inc. ("Beaumont") (TSX VENTURE:BMN.A) announces
that it has granted an option to Peter Farkas, its Chief Operating Officer, to
acquire up to 337,500 Beaumont Class A common shares at an exercise price of
$1.00 per share in accordance with Beaumont's stock option plan, which option
plan was approved by Beaumont shareholders in 2002. The option vests over 27
months and expires on September 30, 2013, subject to earlier vesting or
termination in accordance with the terms of the option plan.


Peter Farkas has been serving as Beaumont's Chief Operating Officer since July
1, 2008.


Beaumont Select Corporations Inc. is a management and investment corporation,
which has investments in a portfolio of marketable securities and the food
processing and real estate industries. Beaumont charges fees and interest on its
investments to its subsidiary companies.
