Good results, everything is progressing to plan. I like it that their production facility will still only be running at 40% of capacity. Plenty of room for extra growth with no extra outlay.

Zenith Hygiene Group plc

Trading Update




The Board of Zenith Hygiene Group plc is today providing an update on trading in advance of its interim results for the six months ended 28 February 2006.



Based on unaudited management accounts, turnover for the first five months of the current financial year increased by 42 per cent. (Or 32 per cent. excluding GWP) over the corresponding period in our last financial year.



Like for like sales in the top ten customers increased by 3.4 per cent.



Since the 1 September 2005, a number of large customer gains have been made including; Gap Stores (120 units), Earls Court Olympia Exhibition Centre (15 units), Windsor & Maidenhead Schools (52 units), Focus Healthcare (20 units), Winnie Healthcare (18 units), Dhillon Hotels (4 units), Splendid Hotels (15 units), University of Southampton (3 units) and Good Hope NHS Trust (1 unit).



The integration of GWP is on track and is scheduled to be completed by 30 June 2006, and we remain comfortable with the guidance on cost savings given at the time of the acquisition.



Historically the majority of the Group's operating profits have been generated in the second half of the financial year. With the acquisition of GWP on 16 December 2005, the second half weighting will this year be even more pronounced.



The Group expects to announce its interim results for the six months ended 28 February 2006 in early May.

This company still looks on course for a PE of 7 by 2007 IMO.

Nothing of note at the AGM which I attended but I think they will put out a trading statement some time after mid Feb but it may be in March. I think quite a lot of shares are locked in till next week though I don't know what difference that makes. At the AGM they took power to increase share by 30m but had no intention of doing so at that time. For more acquisitions in future?

Final results out today. PTP matches the forecast. What I don't understand is why EPS (8.2p) and DPS (2.0) are so much below Oriel's forecast (9.9p and 2.6p). QM

Looks like the trading statement will now come with the results in Nov...suggests to me that the results will be in-line and hence no need for a statement at this juncture
