06/6/2008 17:31 | Given recent news maybe they were busy briefing investors and funds. | umair
04/6/2008 14:14 | I guess delays and disappointments are part and parcel of the mining sector, hence the significant rewards when things do eventually go to plan. Just look at CDN as a recent example. | ramnik007
04/6/2008 13:20 | LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Zambezi Resources Ltd. said it has found a "potentially significant" anomaly at its 100 percent-owned Kangaluwi copper project in southern Zambia, using a Versatile Time-Domain Electro Magnetics (VTEM) airborne survey. The company said it is conducting a major regional VTEM survey at Kangaluwi, and added that a strong and persistent electrical conductor has been defined at the prospect in preliminary data received to date. VTEM is an airborne electromagnetic technique, which can detect a highly conductive body such as massive sulphides down to two hundred metres in depth. Zambezi also said the core of the newly defined conductor has not yet been tested by drilling but noted that interpretation of the preliminary data indicates the conductor is likely to be either sulphides, or graphitic sediments. The group added it expects to provide an update on the data in about two weeks. On April 29, Zambezi had said deposits at Kangaluwi consist of chalcopyrite, bornite, malachite and azurite with chalcopyrite being the dominant ore mineral at depth. It had also said the VTEM survey has the potential to delineate mineralised copper sulphide conductors and will assist in drill targeting. THE key point for me in the above: - "The group added it expects to provide an update on the data in about two weeks." Article dated 09/05/08. | cuzy

28/5/2008 10:30 | valarm, depends on the assay results we seem to be continually waiting for!!! They should as Mr Ford has stated be due any day!! | cuzy
27/5/2008 21:51 | new to this share, is it worth buying at these levels or will it retrace a bit? | valarm
27/5/2008 16:16 | Interesting presentations on the company website given very recently. The bit I liked was Kangaluwi "probably the most significant new discovery in Zambia in the last 30 years"! I added the link on the header. | ramnik007
26/5/2008 09:07 | Expected to see rns on Kangaluvi project on Tuesday. | bobic
22/5/2008 08:38 | The tip by Fat Prophets is probably responsible for the rise and volume in OZ. The gave their first coverage last night in their weekly mining report and this often causes a rise esp in juniors. I have just dipped a toe in ZRL. My best FP tip in Oz has been Carnarvon Petroleum. Bough at circa 6 cents... closed today at 78 cents. My first 10 bagger. They only last week issued another buy note on it. | tartan_penguin2
22/5/2008 07:29 | big rise in australia.. good volume today as well which is un unusual. 900,000 shares 29 cents which is 14.2 pence. expect a rise today .. can you expand on the comment above ? as i am interested in australia stocks can u expand pls? | sitiain
21/5/2008 14:04 | recommended today to subscribers of Fat Prophets Australian Mining Report. I believe it was first covered under the Euro Mining Report last year. Having a look as FP has been good to me (in the whole) down under. Cheers T_P | tartan_penguin2
20/5/2008 23:11 | Looks like todays announcement is an additional one the one expected from the RNS two weeks ago. | grimbo
20/5/2008 10:38 | Can sell now? | cuzy
20/5/2008 10:23 | Unable to offload any stock with Natwest, anyone else got this problem? | cuzy
20/5/2008 07:33 | 'approx 2 weeks from 9 May' | finsburycircus
19/5/2008 17:16 | Well, the assay results from Kangaluwi should be announced in the next day or so if the last RNS is to be believed. I would imagine thats why they rose today. | grimbo
19/5/2008 13:23 | Certainly not from me either. Thanks for the heads up on aspers finsburycicrcus. | cuzy
19/5/2008 12:06 | Fins....you got a good memory my boy! glad I sold ZRL though as I used the profit to top up my JRVS, these showing a nice 18% rise today so far with a shed load more to come. Flogged my BAB this morn to get back in here, as for my reasons well I will just keep quiet on that front from now on in!!! | aspers
19/5/2008 11:17 | certainly not from me! aspers suggested in MNA that, as an executive jet pilot, he'd overheard stuff from passengers re MNA...and the FSA I think did in fact write to him a year or so ago! this time it looks like he sold a few...hoped they'd fall...saw they'd risen and bought back some supposedly for 'news' reasons...quite sad really but it takes all sorts! meanwhile, in the real world, ZRL is performing very nicely thank you for a Monday morning! | finsburycircus |
