16/12/2016 11:52 | euclid5 Thanks for the Information and I'll take a look out of interest but it has no relevance to my original question about listed Investment Company's that buy unlisted company shares They are like Chalk and Cheese. Do you own YOLO? It's not a Unit Trust. | nick rubens

13/12/2016 15:45 | There seems to be a few investment companies on AIM. I'm still not sure if they buy investments or just future liabilities? Have any ever been successful for shareholders that anyone can think of? I remember owning some in the dot com boom and they all went bust eventually after many years of dragging the early stage investment acorn to oak story out. | nick rubens

07/12/2016 15:50 | You are right Nesty. A long time ago DCD media had a xmas toy out. I used to scan the usual sites and see sold out everywhere but whey announced results the sales were pitiful and it was a load of hot air, it taught me a good lesson not to rely or invest in a stock that is reliant on a lot of xmas sales. | hatey
07/12/2016 15:45 | I really wouldn't read too much into QVC selling out. I have worked for a company who has sold on QVC. The most important thing is you sell out. So you understock QVC. Mainly as QVC charge very high tariffs in returning etc & they want to see a sold out sign as it boosts their TV cred which looks like they selling loads etc. EJ probably didn't supply them with all that many devices. I very much doubt 800 units, more like 100-150 if any. IMHO! | nesty1760
07/12/2016 13:13 | and the robbie williams campain starts tomorrow | mr_dross
07/12/2016 12:32 | post on LSE says that QVC sold 800 units in total - and also there's a tweet from EJ saying 'fear not' they have more units | kreature
07/12/2016 09:09 | You can email the PR company who will try to get details. Didn't sound like there was any problem in getting new stock over to QVC when I spoke with them. However you'd need to email to try to get that info clarified. | kreature
07/12/2016 08:41 | They need to sell 70k products to break even. How if they don't have them !! | tidy 2

If the item comes back in stock within the next 90 days, would you like it automatically shipped?’ PS .......Selfridges : Black; Quote: ’Low in stock' Amazon : Blue; Quote: ’Only 15 left in stock (more on the way).’ | kreature
