06/11/2009 16:24 | Still on offer at 44 so there is a large seller in the wings as well. I must say that Xploite have been unlucky that the share price has not been given a premium on the back of what has been a well executed buy, build, grow and sell strategy. No wonder the directors are a little cheesed off and have sold shares. Having said that they should have held on for longer. Any other views on this? | lplp
06/11/2009 15:06 | somebody has bought 400,000 shares at a cost of £175,000 WOW does he subsribe to my theory of a bid | solarno lopez

31/10/2009 10:21 | The company is effectively a cash shell and therefore somewhat easier to value probably about 56/58p without a takeover premium. Other boards are suggesting a bid of 65p personally I think thats a bit toppy. However once the repayment is out of the way the company becomes a more manageable cash shell and would attract a succesful computer company that would like a listing and the cash.Alternatively the directors who are retaing a sizeable holding will get back to what they are good at and buy similar companies. Either way it appears a good bet so perhaps we should hold the stock and stay for the ride | solarno lopez
28/10/2009 20:44 | can anyone advice if i should accept the tender offer or are we expecting a higher share price than 50p | desi99
26/10/2009 13:25 | Maybe you didnt read last weeks rns fully enough? See part of it below ... "As the Company approaches its financial year end, the Board anticipates that Storage Fusion will considerably underperform against its own projections and market expectations for the year to 31 October 2009 and that Storage Fusion will record a significant loss for the period. The SRA software has, however, had positive feedback from customers which the Board believes is testament to the quality of the company's product. As outlined in the circular to Shareholders dated 26 May 2009, the Board's proposed strategy was to sell the software on an enterprise licence basis. However, the directors now believe that this pricing level has introduced too many obstacles to significant take-up of the product and, accordingly, the pricing strategy was altered in July 2009, since when Storage Fusion has secured a further 11 customers. The Board believes that the measures adopted to date will have the effect of reducing the cash burn of the Storage Fusion business and it remains the Board's objective to ensure that the Storage Fusion business is cash positive on a month-to-month basis." | fandango
26/10/2009 12:41 | interesting, last wk the business was in the doldrums, this wk announcing new business. Now I am getting confused (perhaps easily done) it seems slightly unethical to me to release contradictary announcements quite so close together. | hubshank
21/10/2009 11:36 | Addidas, Let's say for example that you tender your shares and get 50% away at the tender price of 50p. If my target price following the tender offer proved to be correct, then you would be left with half your original holding, with the price say 30p, leaving you with an average value of 40p. The shares were 47p to sell when I made my post this morning. Of course, you may be able to sell more in the tender, and the price of the shares once the tender has gone through, might be higher than 30p, but had that trading update come out without details of the tender, I would be fairly certain the share price would have been sub 30p. All IMHO, and always DYOR. tiltonboy | tiltonboy
21/10/2009 11:14 | Tilton : sorry for being thick, could you please explain what do you mean by this line,"I would guess the price x the Tender should be around 25/30p, and would rather sell in the market, rather than tender and take the equity risk on the balance". From your post 1181 above. Thx in advance. | addidas
21/10/2009 09:42 | Perhaps that explains the director sales then?? The insts that took them cant be too chuffed!? | the_doctor
21/10/2009 09:32 | what a crock. surely the point of buy/build/consolidat i find it difficult to believe that they can't find suitably priced acquisitions - more like they can't be bothered with it, given that they are going to cash out 60% at 50p | wcjan26
21/10/2009 08:30 | Directors tendering for more than their entitlement does not augur well. On the basis of that statement, I would guess the price x the Tender should be around 25/30p, and would rather sell in the market, rather than tender and take the equity risk on the balance. Unless of course you think Storage Fusion can turn around. | tiltonboy
21/10/2009 07:18 | Tender offer just announced, they are offering 50p and you can tender upto 46.57% of your holding ----- Xploite, the operator and aggregator of strategic high growth IT services businesses, is pleased to announce that it is today publishing a Circular to Shareholders (the "Circular") detailing a proposed tender offer, pursuant to which Brewin Dolphin will purchase up to 19,000,000 Shares (representing 46.57 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital) at a price of 50 pence per Share (the "Tender Offer"). Following the Tender Offer, which is available to Shareholders on the Register at 5.00 p.m. on 19 November 2009, the Company will purchase for cancellation such Shares as are thereby acquired by Brewin Dolphin (or otherwise a corresponding number of Ordinary Shares). | pelleeds1980
