13/6/2009 16:19 | The Group's strategy is to acquire, either through the issue of securities or for cash, quoted and non-quoted companies operating in the UK Information Communication Technology services sectors. The acquisition strategy is focused on a limited number of "buy and build" opportunities, with the intention of realising further value for shareholders through a future exit. Already numerous opportunities have been identified. "realising further value" = surely this implies having realised shareholder value in the first place; afraid not Mr Smith, you are so deluded and patronising towards XPT shareholders with continual statements with no truth or substance.???? | lr4850
11/6/2009 12:50 | Tilton : Post Dated Chq....;-)). I know, i am just Joking. If MM/investors want to pick/sell some cheap shares and drive the share price down that's fine by me i be looking to pick some. Lower the share price more I can have for the same money. | rb1206
11/6/2009 12:41 | It hasn't gone through yet, so no cheque to lose. | tiltonboy
11/6/2009 12:27 | Well at least we'll get some clarity-hopefully- next week on the results. From talks I've had, I expect Storage Fusion to be making a positive contribution during the seccond half which, if true, really does make current valuation a total nonesense. Some Storage Fusion contract announcements would be nice!!! | square1
11/6/2009 12:10 | Cant seem to hold any highs here these days. | 412069
11/6/2009 11:24 | Trading below cash. Can't understand anyone selling here. | square1
11/6/2009 11:21 | This stock is being forced down to facilitate a "buy in" by management. This company should really be privately owned. | repanco
10/6/2009 07:16 | Outlook Trading in line with expectations, both divisions in good shape Benefiting from tight working capital management, integration of acquisitions and disposal of Itheon rump As at 31 Oct 08, net debt was £0.2m, down from £7.39m at 30 Apr 08 Potential for further acquisitions in managed services space Very few scale players left Significant opportunities for SRA licences Encouraging pipeline and continued improvement of forward visibility In current year over £10m new contracts won by Anix :-( What is today's announcement, which is shown as a flag on ADVFN this morning? Flag now gone, but shareprice showing no faith in Smith's significant shareholder returns statements ahead of results next week. | lr4850
05/6/2009 13:48 | square, COULD, but at the moment it is below expectations. Let's just hope they pick up some meaty business in the not too distant. tiltonboy | tiltonboy
05/6/2009 13:34 | But Storage Fusion could get back on track very quickly :-) | square1
05/6/2009 13:20 | The problem I see is that the board have stated that Storage Fusion is below expectations. Yes, the division might have great prospects, but how much cash is it consumming at the moment. Until such time we see more positive news, I think the share price will struggle to make progress. | tiltonboy
05/6/2009 13:07 | I will add to my stake of 100,000 and agree that underneath the various deals MM have taken no account of the value of Storage Fusion which in perspective has potential to up the share price 50%. It stands to reason that a 'substantial deal flow' would be expected which in effect should push the share price currently undervalued higher. | robmc100
05/6/2009 12:57 | Patience will be rewarded IMHO. | square1
05/6/2009 12:49 | lgp shame current share price not reflecting this optimism. | ranoszek
04/6/2009 09:38 | The current market cap is covered by cash and with substantial deal flow expected this year I'm very happy with the upside. | lgpixels
01/6/2009 21:59 | Things look very good going forward I see 75p short term before we move up to £1. I am sure there will be some great deals lined up. Company has got a track record now of 39% compound growth on acquisitions so they know what they are doing. | lgpixels
31/5/2009 18:33 | LOL : "Smith added that the company was now in a strong position to create further shareholder value by exploiting its proven expertise, market knowledge and business strategy at a time when valuations are very attractive." "further shareholder value": yeah yeah LOL :-( ( tell that Smithy to the many shareholders who havent seen any increase in shareholder value, but a massive decrease in value; myself included.) | lr4850
30/5/2009 14:40 | Depends what they do with the cash. I bought this as a play on the data centres. Theyve sold them and therefore ive sold too. Would have sold first thing on Tuesday if id actually seen the veiled profit warning at the end of the statement... | stegrego
29/5/2009 08:31 | it will certainly get close imo - its trading at cash at the moment!!!! see 0.65p as a likely PT in the short/medium term. | manners2 |
