I wonder how the pilot briquetting plant is going? Should be hearing some news on that fairly soon given that it was said to be due to commence a few weeks ago.

Yes but it will never ever come for this is not Ireland this is South Africa. The President and the SAG have been promising to kick the AMD project into gear for how many years?. And what has happened...FA.

As I've stated on many occasions what they want is for it to become an international crisis when they can then make a play for foreign aid.

sammy, great news finally on AMD :-) so we could have a news release on this too
before end of 2012 alongside the coal project.

eddie, great find on the article ref AMD,so if the president of south africa has
now put on the statute that long term steps are taken on AMD before 2013 this now
means that we should expect an announcement shortly.

It has been put on record that WUC has been the only organisation or company to submit a plan for long term AMD solution so its not a matter of " if " but "when"
these multi-billion rand contracts fall to MRI and WET.

As i said a while ago with watermark already trading at a 100% discount to its
net asset value it will be very very interesting to see the effect on the SP
here when either the AMD news is announced or the coal project!!

Production is forecast to commence 9 months from 1 March 2012. The first month of operations is
forecast to run at 20% of the Average Production, second month at 50% of the Average Production
and Average Production is forecast to be achieved during February 2013.

Are we still running on this schedule?
