11/11/2012 11:13 | minecap, looking at the timelines in various statements i am expecting an update on the briquetting project shortly. Mine Cap 10 Nov'12 - 13:31 - 299 of 301 Guys was just looking through the statement (business update) from september and found this which looks interesting. "The implementation of MRIs Coal Briquetting project is progressing well and first production is anticipated by February 2013. The pilot briquetting plant will be moved to site in the next few weeks in order to commence production of sample batches for final off-take evaluation and specification. This information is required under the existing off-take agreement to enable potential consumers to evaluate the product. By implementing the pilot plant ahead of the main production facility, MRI will be in a position to assess market requirements and make final adjustments to the process before entering into full production." | sammy g
10/11/2012 14:55 | enshare...it certainly has a good chance imvho | shaun09

10/11/2012 12:22 | enshare...it is well possible and i think there will be some major newsflow here starting next week. WET has a current NAV of 0.36p+ so actually a 100% discount now for those buying in :-) | shaun09
10/11/2012 12:15 | shaun09 i predict this will move back to 0.40p - 0.50p before end of year | enshare
10/11/2012 10:48 | shaun, i had another look through the MRI documents and found a few things on their coal briquette project that stood out.Firstly they are projecting a net profit per tonne of 150% after all costs and will be instant revenues. And secondly on the ten year financial model they produced for project it shows steady profitabilty under all scenarios. I think this project could well far exceed even their own forecasts, when you consider that coal mines are now being forced to reduce their tailings / fines levels under various governmental and also UN legislation. Quite a clever idea to use this waste ( which is one of the causes of AMD ) and not only remove it but turn it into a clean burning fuel. | reutersman
09/11/2012 21:19 | fatfish yes posted earlier but worth another look i think,if they are expecting to rollout the project during december they could well issue an update this week in my opinion. Make no mistake if as they have hinted they have cracked the tech on this fuel it will be a potentially huge global business with a large demand in africa alone. | shaun09
09/11/2012 19:03 | shaun it was posted at 12 ish :-) | fatfish

09/11/2012 15:25 | fatfish, its a 1m buy limit with my broker but they will take all my 6.5m off me on a ordinary trade, kind of suggests that this will be in play next week. | mine cap
09/11/2012 15:17 | can still buy 1.526m if i had more dosh in my account mabe i could get more | fatfish
09/11/2012 15:11 | fatfish the buy limit is now 1m but on level 2 its now 5 v 1 so could indicate some order filling. | mine cap
09/11/2012 14:13 | fatfish, that is still a fairly low limit on this share and its just a hunch but i think this could be abit tasty next week.I just checked my quotes again and being offered up to 750k buy limit on one and 1.2m on the other broker so could be a gap somewhere ?? | reutersman
09/11/2012 14:06 | Reuter just did a dummy buy for 1.5 mill and a dummy sell for 3m could have done both | fatfish
09/11/2012 14:03 | fatfish, they only quoting up to 750k on both brokers i use and real spread is now tight too at 0.156p - 0.165p | reutersman |
