Trading update due about anytime now.

Vitec were able to say in May, that the Full Year was likely to
be at the Top end of expectations.

They said this just 3 months into the trading year.

A PER of 11 and a 4% yeild, for an a Company with market leadership
in most areas, targeting new high growth markets like Defence.

They generate bags of cash, over 20 million has been stripped
out of the Business annually.

The Market has overlooked this imv.

Positive holdings RNS today and good rise, still a healthy future yield at this price. Very little sell depth on level 2 at the moment - looks like these could really fly soon.

Worth a look,DYOR

Surprised it's so quiet here after the movement. 10.9p (5.5%) divi to be had if you're on the register April 24th. Maybe that's driving this move, but yesterday was one of the highest volume days ever, and some chunky stuff going through again this morning. EPS was 48p at last finals, putting this on a PE of 4. Management have also recommitted to this year's forecasts....All in all I think this is worth a risk in the short term. A run upto 300p looks easily attainable.

All IMHO

I can^t decide whether this is on a p-e of three or two, can anyone help me decide?

The 10% yield and growth history is the easy part because it is retrospective.

Directors nibbling today suggests a p-e at an attractive level

But what do I know?

relwased this morning ... 2008 prospective 10x p/e and 3.8% yield looks ok after this .... if anyone cares right now

The Vitec Group plc

2007 Post-close Statement

The Board of The Vitec Group plc ("Vitec") announces the following update on
trading for the year to 31 December 2007.

Current trading

2007 has been another strong year for Vitec. The Board expects adjusted profit
before tax (before significant items) for the year ended 31 December 2007 to be
around the upper end of current market forecasts (see Note 4).

Group sales are expected to be around £270 million, some 21% ahead of 2006.
Before acquisitions and adverse foreign exchange, group sales were up around
10%. Revenue in Broadcast Systems was lifted by the trend to High Definition
(HD) programme-making and from the acquisition in May of RF Systems, which is
seeing rapid growth from the "BAS Relocation Project" in the USA. Imaging &
Staging's revenue has benefited from the continuing growth in sales of digital
SLR cameras and from increased spending by professionals on lighting equipment.
The Group has also seen a full year of sales from Tomcat Global and Autoscript
(acquired in the last quarter of 2006).

Bogen Imaging, the Group's distribution business, has announced the opening of
Bogen Imaging UK, bringing the distribution of its Manfrotto products in-house
from February 2008.

Outlook for 2008

With the expected benefits of the Beijing Olympics and a full-year contribution
from RF Systems, the Group looks forward to further progress in 2008.

Vitec continues to pursue acquisitions that complement its existing businesses
and add further value for shareholders.
