at worst it's a pure momentum trade on volume, at best there's a pipeline of significant value enhancing news in the wings, making the current valuation silly stupid cheap....170-240p in 6 months

I totally agree the entire Market Cap and company prospects come into Play and Re the share price is irrelevant in that sense but for example.. I bought boohoo a couple of years back at 22p and Sold at 1.30 about a 6 fold increase in just short of 2 Years... The question being would it go to £ 7.80 in the next 2 Years ? giving the co a valuation of approx. £ 10 bln.. mmmmm.. Probably explained it wrong but I just find lots of Co's with high share Prices have excessive valuations... Rio Tinto has doubled and has a PE of 17.4 but 5 years ago it was about £30 and there was a bargain to be had at £18 when the price dropped. If profits keep increasing the share price will keep climbing but growth starts to slow when your a big Co. All I'm saying is it just feels there are better value stocks out there that will perform better and earn better

Baticle.

Not so. No difference. Share price is irrelevant.
e.g share at 1p doubles at 2p.
Share at £18 (e.g Rio Tinto at the low) doubles at current £36.

i.e 10% or 100% is just that whether share is 1p or £100.

Level 2 showing 800,000 on the bid at 58p

Never seen such a large order as that before

Normal orders are for 5,000/7,500/10,000

Price dropped back to 58p-59p and they did not cancel their order

800,000 at 58p totals £464,000 which is big money

I used to have Unilever back in 96, Good company but I'm always skeptical of buying expensive (high price value) shares.... something goes from 50p to £1 you've doubled your money... from £35 you would have to sell at £70 to get the same financial performance, of course you can't always use that rule if there's a deal for a quick or almost guaranteed return for a Co.I just think there are a few good stocks out there but it's down to personal taste and how long you're prepared to hang around till you cash in.

Think they would have to increase the bid to get it. Merger arb always risk though.
