Following the conversion of convertible unsecured loan stock 2006 on 31 August
1999, Lord Rothschild, a director of Value Realisation Trust plc ("VRT"),
advised the Company on 8 September 1999 that his total interest in VRT now
represented 13.27% of the increased issued ordinary share capital of the
Company (previously 9.93%).  Lord Rothschild's interest in VRT is now as
follows:

11,853,419 ordinary shares with a beneficial interest
 4,718,715 ordinary shares with a non-beneficial interest
