Compared to the TSX index of small miners VGM has actually preformed in line with market and correlated to a beta of arounf .87...so the price over the last year has been effected by both the delay in production and in addtion the market issues with gold stocks.

Here's a link to a site I have dipped into over the past months.
It's a blog by some chap called Trader Dan, who seems to post some sensible comments on the American economy and how that relates to Gold etc.
This is a page he put up a few days ago, which seems to be quite bullish on Gold and Gold stocks. Mind you, isn't virtually everyone bullish, but it hasn't done us any favours though!



In light of some of the discussions on Orosur thread, I will post the same there.
I've no affiliation to this chap. Just found his site interesting.

Yes, I was shafted by lying NGL management

But at least, I am not telling everyone that it wasn't their fault.

The guy that ballsed it all up there and lied has gone.

Gunner Paxton is still here.

NGL's lies don't make VGM's any less nasty.

You were around at the time, you saw all Paxton's pumping - you saw all the lies. But then you are one of Dave's mates - you probably got the nod to sell at £2.

Has anything that I said about VGM turned out to be wrong -- only because I was not severe enough.

Paxton, lied and lied and lied to shareholders - yet you never make one complaint about him. Think about it - nobody has lost money on VGM by taking notice of me. But plenty were drawn in by 3+ years of 100,000 ozs per year just around the corner promises.

There is no way that you can say what transpired between October 2010 and January 2011 - was anything other than a complete disgrace.
Even by AIM's appalling standards, it was shocking.

Hello Smelgy my old chum

remember 15 months ago - VGM had just had two bumper quarters and D Paxton was so bullish about about hitting 100,000 oz run rate in just a few months?
TSX listing just around the corner - everything was rosy.

Share price over £2 - allowed the other company that Gunner is a director of to sell all their VGM shares at a massive profit. [I'm sure the timing was just coincidence - and that Dave really didn't know that it was going to be all downhill from there on.]
Only a real cynic would think that they went slow in one quarter then mined all the good stuff in the next two quarters (ignoring development) and pumped it like crazy - just so they could get the high price for all the insiders to sell out at.

Then the quarterly update was delayed for 20 days - making sure that all those in the know could get out at over £2. [Obviously coincidence again.]

There was no talk of any need for an accelerated development program in those days. What a nasty surprise it was for everyone except me and you when the late quartely update finally came out.

Remember all the grief we got from the bulls? Look at the performance since -- it turns out that we weren't negative enough.
