22/3/2012 09:35 | Michaels - you are just as sad an individual now as you always were. I would suggest you have a few lessons in civility and get out a bit more. Once VGM sink below 50p you'll probably disappear I would think, engulfed in gloom and booze. | speedwaymad
22/3/2012 09:19 | mad, I sold at 221.5p. | chinese investor
22/3/2012 09:11 | Exactly "Chinese". Fair way to go in my opinion. Are you near being wiped out now? | speedwaymad
22/3/2012 08:36 | The drop in the gold price will concentrate the minds. | chinese investor
22/3/2012 07:14 | This punter is worth following . . . speedwaymad - 1 Nov'11 - 10:25 - 8011 ...........just come back from walking pongo. Broker confirmed 20,000 @ 20.94. Happy with that. speedwaymad - 2 Nov'11 - 09:10 - 8047 Actually I'm off to GAME a bit later to start some Christmas shopping. Very impressed with the way they've laid the shop out now. Can't stop enthusing really because for the last few weeks our local branch has been very busy. Every time I purchase something there I think of the bottom line. speedwaymad - 7 Nov'11 - 15:57 - 8103 .........just in for another 10,000 at 18.7. speedwaymad - 8 Nov'11 - 15:17 - 8145 Many years of City experience taught me to do research "on the ground" as it were, and GAME is certainly buzzing at the moment, at least here. speedwaymad - 9 Nov'11 - 12:13 - 8178 ........will be buying in once again. speedwaymad - 15 Nov'11 - 12:19 - 8301 I predict GAME will have an excellent Christmas this year, and we will have an excellent share price once the xmas trading statement is out. speedwaymad - 8 Dec'11 - 14:15 - 9222 .......Sutton High St absolutely heaving today, and GAME no exception. 9 tills open and huge queues. I bought World of Wnaking DVD - very instructive. speedwaymad - 11 Dec'11 - 12:55 - 9392 .......anyone remember when next was 6p? Look at them now! speedwaymad - 12 Dec'11 - 22:50 - 9473 More than happy to hold and top-up. | chinese investor
21/3/2012 12:50 | Michaelsadvfn - do you, perchance, have a screw loose? Or are you just naturally a prat? See you have lost quite a lot of money here. Couldn't happen to a nicer individual in my opinion. Long may it continue. | speedwaymad

21/3/2012 11:29 | Has he though or has the mine just underperformed. I don't think it is as clear cut as you think. Paxton over optimistic yes, lying, don't think so. Really disappointed with VGM performance myself.Expected it of NGL however. Wonder if the latter will ever get back to my breakeven of 12p! | fangorn2
21/3/2012 11:19 | Has he been lying Elban or has he just been incompetent. If it's the former it's nothing compared to what those at NGL got up to before the restructuring they recently had. | fangorn2
21/3/2012 00:04 | kemo4, in 2008 he was saying 110,000 oz in 2009 in 2009 he was saying 100,000 oz in 2010 in 2010 he was saying 100,000 oz in 2011 In fact in an interview in October 2010 - he said that they would hit the 25,000 quarter run rate in Feb 2011. But at this time the accelerated development had already started - so there was not a chance in hell that it would happen. Look back at the old accounts and updates -- marvel at a master liar at work! | elban

20/3/2012 22:17 | The biomass plant will be equity funded from VGM And the project debt will be in the biomass company | kemo4
20/3/2012 18:50 | The funds were part used at the time to fund the feasibility study. I bloody hope they dont raise funds for the biomass project. Im told they dont intend to, time will tell... | benjib5151
20/3/2012 14:45 | Leave ..... best advise in years VGM is like voting on Smelgy its never going to come in its a company made to raise placing cash for the board - pure and simple thats it | janyboy9
20/3/2012 12:42 | Tempus isn't so keen on Fiji-focused gold miner Vatukoula Gold Mines. With one decent mine and a reasonable production rate, there's nothing wrong with the stock, thinks the column, it's simply a play on the gold price, which is very high. Leave. | flyingswan
20/3/2012 09:22 | benjib5151 - 19 Mar'12 - 21:26 - 1339 of 1340 The biomass plant is an externally funded third party project. Im pretty sure VGM will not be putting equity in the venture David Paxton, CEO of Vatukoula Gold Mines, commented: "We are pleased to announce the GBP6 million placing that will allow the Company to fund the development of our asset and also fund the biomass power project. | janyboy9
20/3/2012 09:19 | WHATS THE POINT ? | janyboy9
20/3/2012 09:13 | yanzui, Good call on the Q2 production of just under 14.5k oz. Production is in line with managements targets. I have made a small top up, but will wait until the Q3 before topping up again. Cheers, Niels | nielsc
20/3/2012 08:17 | Well done Smelgy...190 votes Are you at all disappointed with that result? "Oh no, as I always say... climb every mountain, ford every stream, follow every byway, till you find your dream...a dream that will last for as long as you live....." | michaelsadvfn |
