29/1/2016 18:33 | Inse results yesterday probably helped sentiment too. | hutch_pod
29/1/2016 18:04 | Axa has sold out totally now, so hopefully that removes the downward pressure on the price; and with Woodford and others holding in big numbers, let's expect a furthering of the now new price uptrend. There's resistance around the 200p. level, but once that's broken through on the upside, we should be seeing a battle with 250p. soon after that, IMHO. | andrewbaker
29/1/2016 16:52 | >>Somebody did two 50,000 sells at 16.02 and also two 50,000 sells at 13.07 apart from this it was a very good day.>> Those pairs of trades look like roll overs to me. | zho
29/1/2016 16:43 | Somebody did two 50,000 sells at 16.02 and also two 50,000 sells at 13.07 apart from this it was a very good day. Hopefully they have run out of stock to sell. 77m shares in issue. | freddie ferret
29/1/2016 16:15 | moving on nicely | qs99
29/1/2016 12:21 | We should get an update within two weeks. I am still confident that Esos will have helped considerably and that the figures should look good. Easy pickings this month so far from the recent lows. | bennywin
25/1/2016 12:10 | Quite a few sellers appeared, when the price hit 175 bid, but it hasn’t affected the price too much. A good day, if it manages to stay around these levels. | eaaxs06
25/1/2016 10:47 | Fair points , however anything but flat since your post. | bennywin
22/1/2016 20:45 | I think I can rest my case. Down to 135 one day and up to 170 two days later. Aah, the joys of the AIM casino. | bennywin
21/1/2016 08:42 | Just observation on what may be happening in sector. Doubt if trading update would be flagging up falling prices ahead...if indeed that happens, early days yet. | paleje
20/1/2016 16:19 | Funny thing to say with an update due in a couple of weeks ! | bennywin
20/1/2016 14:48 | Aside from the state of the market, maybe weakness here is exacerbated by the milder weather lower usage plus Cameron's recent attack on the energy co's to pass wholesale savings on to customers, apparently EON announced this am it will reduce by over 5% but critics are looking for more. That has to affect commissions. Plus, if energy co's start playing ball with customers won't it reduce need for brokers. I'm not persuaded either way I got stopped out again, just mulling, seems there could be weakness for a while. | paleje
20/1/2016 10:11 | Similar! Regards | prop_joe
19/1/2016 15:43 | Hi all I was wondering where peoples buy and sell targets are set for this share? Personally based on the last year of ups and downs, I will start buying from 1.50 downwards with the aim of selling back around the 1.85 - 1.95 mark (all news depending of course) What is everyone else thinking? Similar or different? | blshftw
15/1/2016 09:08 | CWA Thanks. I am not lucky enough to have won the lottery nor would I ever buy a ticket as I think the odds are stacked against you. UTW has a very solid management and I have full faith in them to deliver. Many of the companies on AIM are chancers and I don't believe this to be one of them. In a world of growing red tape and beurocracy I think that UTW has a great place to provide a valuable service in the market, hence I have put my money where my mouth is. Regarding UT trades, they rarely reflect the closing trades that preceded them, hence my scepticism . | bennywin
15/1/2016 08:38 | Morning benny I admire your chutzpah in having such a chunky holding in UTW, bigger than I would be happy with unless I was a recent mega lottery winner! I'm happy though to have, recently, added a considerably more modest holding. Good luck with it. Wondering why you say the UT makes a mockery of AIM? The UT is simply a matching function of the market to set buyers against sellers pre market opening and has nothing, as far as I am aware, to do with the AIM regulators or market specifically. The same can, and does, happen at much bigger non AIM listed companies, sometimes for as little as a handful of shares traded. | cwa1
15/1/2016 08:10 | While I am here This mornings UT trade at 164 makes yet another mockery of AIM Bid 157. Offer 159.5 | bennywin
15/1/2016 08:07 | If Eos has not provided provided a bonanza this quarter I will be shocked. In addition , you are going to be looking at a decent dividend return at these prices. | bennywin
15/1/2016 07:41 | Re-echoing eaaxs06, I admire your stomach bennywin. I too have confidence in the company's long-term prospects, but the last 6+ months have been an emotional ride; I've held my non-insignificant stake, but haven't (yet) averaged-down.... That said, I'm tempted to do so now following the positive AGM statement, the initial news we've had on the changes to supplier's payment terms and the up-coming trading statement... Re. Woodford, I'm not reading too much into it. It's a very modest top-up, so probably attributable to portfolio re-balancing / optimisation. It does however show continued support, so clearly no bad thing. | le4r
15/1/2016 07:09 | So do I Eaaxs And yes I do have a large holding . I am now up to 85k . Their increased offerings should help Considerably imo. | bennywin
14/1/2016 19:13 | Only 3-4 weeks from a trading statement, assuming they follow the same pattern as previous years, so hopefully that will stop these ridiculous steps down. PE of just over 8x now for the current year..... | adamb1978
14/1/2016 18:29 | I admire you confidence, bennywin, you must have a substantial holding by now. I hope your hunch is correct. | eaaxs06
14/1/2016 16:47 | Topped up too. | bennywin
14/1/2016 13:23 | I’ve topped up too, but alas didn’t get a particularly good price. Good news that Woodford has added, let’s hope the market makers spot it and raise the prices accordingly. | eaaxs06
14/1/2016 10:32 | Woodford has topped up I see.Always a good sign. | nurdin |
