Yes audioboom continues apace while 7 digital moves in small jumps. Simon Cole would probably still have the neck to tell you the deal was good for UBC holders. Shameless!

UBC shares have now been subsumed and consolidated into 7 Digital on a 10 for 1 basis. The EPIC for the recently listed 7 Digital is 7DIG.

They hope to deliver HD sound!

They are not competing with Spotify, Pandora etc. but are supplying the wherewithal to companies like these (B2B)

Lenovo (was ex-IBM hardware business I think) is set to be the leading mobile device manufacturer. Mind you I did hear that from 7Digital!

Early probs with trying to monitor 7DIG but found interesting news-

looks like a very good contract win on first day of trading.

Hope monitoring comes up at 8am. Also we a new thread or can we get this
UBC thread converted to 7Digital ??

Smithie, those buys were with real money, you are right they already had a stack of shares, hence they need not have bought them in the placing, I think its a good sign of intent

Something you don't get is the intangibles of relationships with the recording companies and artists who actually own the content, these relationships take ages, are complicated, I am really pleased that Pete Downton who was director at Pure Flow Cloud technology will be working at the top in 7Digital, he was more or less head man at Warner Music before joining IMG,he is a totally respected figure in the music industry and with Ben Drury will form a potent force

I was lucky to have a presentation by Pete at IMG HQ with another investor, he was superb

This clip is a bit ancient but explores what I mean by the touchiest-feely business that this company and its integration in the digital world is all about

We have an A1 team leading it, :-)

We'll it was a foregone conclusion but results of AGM are there for all to see

Nice to see senior characters all buy £9000 worth each at the placing price

Interesting but not surprising to see Pete Downton on board, presumably having left IMG/Pure, I have met him twice, very smart cookie indeed with huge ammount of contacts and credibility in the music publishing business.

The one thing I would agree with Smithie on is that this was all stage managed, driven , part financed and now staffed ;-) by IMG who own 17.1% of the business

I have made 2 fortunes already investing in IMG -and fully expect to make some further great rewards that's why I have been following this closely

I am sure Pure's flow cloud platform and other IP will feature large in this companies future

I have always been Hossein Yassaie's greatest fan...until recent events at IMG, HE IS A GREAT VISIONARY ( one of the few) if he see's massive value here....then so do I

We shall see

Best of luck to all holders

Michael
in case of interest..you have Vfone as a pick in your virtual portfolio..I personally would be shorting Vodafone....

the telecomms sector has not been doing well....
reading the co. reports the cos. are almost crying...

calls via the internet... for free or tiny cost ....rather than via Vodafone wont help Vodafone....imho anyway.

although of course logic and share prices dont always go hand in hand !
