07/6/2014 08:26 | 7Digital and Audioboom have completely different business models, separately floating Audioboom was the only rational idea I guess this thread will have to disappear by Tuesday when UBC is renamed/reversed into 7Digital S | sweenoid
06/6/2014 13:13 | I can assure Loobrush that the price of UBC shares will be a lot higher on Monday/Tuesday!! | raysor
06/6/2014 13:10 | Presumably the new content partners (CBS & Sky Sports)for Audioboom will help UBC in the long run? | raysor
06/6/2014 11:10 | 3.1p is a buy - well mine was | folderboy
06/6/2014 11:09 | There is a master plan for UBC and Audioboom organised by Imagination who hold shares in both outfits-Imagination have put this together-this is yet to unfold-when it becomes clearer the price of both of these two will fly. | loobrush
05/6/2014 12:03 | shame they signed this up now & not a few months ago when UBC owned 52% wi - has no reaction to this news today | euclid5
05/6/2014 07:17 | 5 June 2014 Audioboom Group plc ("Audioboom") New content partners: CBS and Sky Sports Audioboom Group plc (AIM: BOOM), which owns Audioboo the digital social media audio platform, announces that CBS Radio Limited ("CBS") and Sky Sports Limited ("Sky Sports") have agreed to become major new content partners on Audioboom's social media platform. 04/6/2014 08:21 | hxxp://about.7digita I like the 7digital site, presumably with the merger formalised next Monday and listing on Tuesday it will get even better S | sweenoid
02/6/2014 20:22 | Well spotted sweenoid. Michael. | michaelmouse
02/6/2014 15:43 | Tizen..new smartphone op. system from Samsung..never heard of it before today... its moving the price of Apple shares down today... (as well as 7Digital previously announcing music services for it, ref. Sweenoid post) "SAMSUNG TO LAUNCH TIZEN IN 3RD QUARTER Samsung Electronics said that it would start selling a smartphone running on a homegrown operating system called Tizen in the third quarter of the year, marking a major step forward in the Korean technology giant's attempts to lessen its reliance on Google's Android operating system." well, hopefully the Samsung link up can help support the highish cost ratios for 7Digital | smithie6

28/5/2014 21:38 | Smithie, count me in as a no too. Simon Cole has been a disgrace and let us not let him off the hook too easily! Great work here! | mach100
28/5/2014 17:13 | the Torotrak article is also very much worth reading. | smithie6
28/5/2014 17:09 | for those few that doubt my words ( ! je je ) ... this is worth a read imo..by Paul Scott..and gives basically very similar views as me....about a different company....but making basically the same points I have about 7Digital and its vaulation. Where it says Digital barriers you could insert the word UBC, imo and in many case the comments made would/could be valid. hxxp://www.stockoped | smithie6
28/5/2014 16:15 | Gekko it was my mistake on the MD selling out....due to the bad quality of the RNS or prospectus details for holdings.... it looks like the UBC MD will have same number of shares (ignoring the 10:1 consolidation) as before the merger with 7 Digital. He couldnt I think vote yes while selling out. --- "Smithie why are you being so loyal to this company" me ?!! je je. I've been criticising the MD and the mergers for the last X days ...ever since I saw the info. ...and even set up this action group msg. brd. to try to get others involved. | smithie6
28/5/2014 13:16 | Smithie why are you being so loyal to this company & holding on when everyone else is selling? Even you director has sold out. Makes no difference how great or bad a company is,if the shares go up you make money,go down you lose money. | gekko68
28/5/2014 13:15 | NO no smithie! I meant when it came back from suspension it was marked down which to me suggests they felt it had lost value as you keep maintaining! I am with you in that respect....its disappointing the way its worked out. Good luck. | hazl
28/5/2014 12:54 | goodness ...a premium poster ! marked it down since no reported buys at present.....but not many sales either... in any case if they had a big order to fill....they would still let the price fall... 'something going for it' if you know the basics then the possibles are there....but have been for years imo and havent happened... last time the UBC MD tried music downloads....it blew up in his face....Cliq1. imo he is not sufficiently techie for decisions in that area... ----- 7Digital as posted many times... 5M/ year loss on 11M/year turnover...and 10M/year op. costs. 16% increase in 2013 in average cost per worker. NUTS !! 16% reduction in turnover in Q1 in 2014. ARGHHHHH !!!! imo frightening numbers, imo typical for inexperienced dirs in a start up....thinking there is a pit of money to pay losses 7Digital is close to bankrupt...and hence UBC should have nailed for a low price if it really wanted to merge with it. Money runs out around Dec 2014 imo....7 months. ( !!) ---- imo they need to (MUST) sack all workers they can that would not receive redundancy pay. THe 5M /year loss imo MUST be slashed....immediate | smithie6 |
