Dont forget divi!!!!! is it the ex date or the record date u have to be holding on to recieve it? Ex date is 24 Nov and record date is 26 Nov - so worth a few more days for the .7 per share!

get the feeling that the directors know something about the future performance of the business that shareholders dont! perhaps they overpaid for luton with this the desired outcome....it just seems weird though that they sealed this deal up so quickly compared to previous offers and haven't even put out their own RNS about the deal (probably in the pub celebrating i guess)

92.5 p is a tad disappointing. was hoping for 100-110. must say im surprised given the history or an earlier bid at 90p.

We need to see if the market think the same way and push the share price above the offer on the belief that a) the offer undervalues company assets and b) another bidder may come in.

Odd though, that we have had three or four days of bubbling around the 85p level and then a hike to 90p around lunchtime today.

I am speculating, but I think there is gossip afoot. This could be perhaps just in confirmation that the bid is real and will be taken seriously - this will dispel any market hesitancy that the bid will fall away and hence corroberate your 90p resistance theory. It could also be a leak of offer price, although me me, I'm not sure on that one, only because the optimist in me hopes that the figure is highr than this level

robbi123 The resistance at 90p is because over two years ago Vinci offered this amount. The climate has changed and TBI are more focused. The valuation of their assets must on a different footing, and 90p is irrelevant, just psychological.

People second guessing the bid price. The general consensus is that it is in excess of 90p. There is obviously a school of thought that suggests that the figure could be much higher

Topcar, starting to agree with you. Price hiked 5p this morning. There must be some news out there suggesting that the bid is larger than even we might second guess. I'm going to sit tight and watch for a mo.....
