Payment received in my account today.

Thanks Only. As I feared I still haven't received what amounts to a very significant amount from Barclays. I wonder in whose benefit the money is being currently held. And will they credit the interest earned to my account? Some hopes!

Had my cheque this morning, cheque was dated yesterday. It came from Computershare at Bristol, although the shares were originally purchased via TD Waterhouse. Hope you get yours soon !!! All the best.

I think it's Jan 18. Barclays my stockbroker are usually very slow to distribute to the rightful owners of the money, so I would appreciate it if anyone who gets his/her money were to let us all know on this thread.

Yep. Might not be BAA but the deal is not done until the fat lady sings!

Just a word of warning though.. mighty shorts are accumulating at the moment so best advise is sell on Mon - Tue and buy in at 55 0 70 ish, just experience and check the disclosures they say even some of the holders are CFD ing downwards.
Sell next week and buy back in later !

Advice please. Presumably this is a done deal and the shares are automatically sold and .925/shares is paid into our account. If so when? Can one leave the cash in an isa until one decides to buy something else?

I would like to believe that is correct Gerryl. Are you sure you are not confusing the last couple of suitors (Vinci who got rid of their stake).

I for one would really like to see a rival bidder but I cant really see it if the board have recommended this one.

Are there any regulatory restrictions stopping BAA ?

Prothus you should have settled for 91.25 and got in on EPO at lunchtime - you would ahve doubled your money nearly!!!
