spob,

pumping prior to the results and dumping afterwards I could accept. Do you not find it odd that there is a major buying spree after the event?

Will be interesting to see if the continues over the next few days

re post 628

"reference to 'pump and dump city boys' shows your complete naivety."

...my comment refers to the trading volume in this stock, not the posters on this board

naivety ?

tonester,

Damm, and I thought for once I could make a difference, LOL.

You're spot on of course re post 628, let's hope the same can be said for the educated guess work as I for one would be a happy dumper at around 90p short term.

Regards.

spob,

reference to 'pump and dump city boys' shows your complete naivety.

This is a bulletin board largely populated by small independent shareholders with minor holdings. This company is capitalised at £420m, with shareholding sitting largely with the Thomas's or with the institutions. These people do not read these boards, nor are they remotely interested in them. £4m of shares changed hands today, and the share price moved by 1p. It will take more than a suposition on an independent BB to move this price.

I share my thoughts with you. Take them or leave them. I really don't care. 'Pump'? - I know even with full support of this BB, we will have no influence at all

Got me wrong mate. Cardiff boy working on rumour and hunches. I got in for £12k yesterday on the back of what I thought were excellent results and couldn't understand the apathetic reaction. Fishing and researching today leaves me strongly in the belief that something is cooking.....to the extent that I am in for a further £40k today.

Dump....absolutely. If my hunch is right this will add 15-20% in the short term, and I'll take my money out and move on. If I'm wrong, the results are strong enough that the share price will not fall from this level.

Good upside. Limited downside.

I agree that the large volumes after the results are a bit fishy.just think that indomie is playing tbi down a bit too much.If its as bad as he thinks why would there be so much takeover speculation.

There is a mixture of fact, gossip and speculation in my summising of the position, but I agree, this is too early to call. I suggest we watch the volume and any large buys over the course of the next week or so to establish patterns.

IMO, if a bid does materialise, it will have to be north of the current asking price although perhaps, not at the Vinci levels of a couple of years ago.

Tonester,

If, and it's a big if, your right then you will of called it early and that will be quite impressive but I really think we'll have to see how this plays out during the next few days/weeks.

Again as a holder I really hope you're right, just in time for Christmas!

ProThus,

Interesting doing the volume research too.

Last 15 days reads like this

28/10 - 1.7m
29/10 - 1.1m
1/11 - 500k
2/11 - 800k
3/11 - 1.3m
4/11 - 1.7m
5/11 - 2.2m
8/11 - 340k
9/11 - 1.3m
10/11 - 1.8m
11/11 - 2.4m
12/11 - 1.6m
15/11 - 3.2m
16/11 - 3.1m
17/11 - 5m

15/11 trading I can accept given that this degree of trading is usual in the lead in to the figures.

16/11 trading I can bearly accept. If the results had been significantly above or below market expectation, I would expect big volume and share movements. A flat response however, suggests that there may be something happening over and above the norm.

17/11 - 5m trades. Market should have settled after results, whereas in fact it heats up and trades at 4 times the average level over a normal trading period. There is something cooking..........

Tonester,

If I hear anything I will of course share it with your goodself and other BB'ers.

I conceed that the potential for an interested party coming to light now is without question more attractive than ever with the TBI soon to gain approval for the outright ownership of London Luton.

This asset is a huge carrot and promises the potential for increasing revenues for whoever owns it.

Buys now at 3.5m playing 500k sells.

ProThus,

I accept that the results were excellent yesterday and that this may be the reason for an element of buying. If this were the case however, this hype would have happened the moment the RNS was issued.

There is big volume here (the vast majority of which are buys) and no clear justification for the sudden interest. There is also gossip circulating the Welsh marketplace that a new buyer is around.

I think it would be very useful if interested parties here could put ear to ground and share any thoughts
