11/11/2013 14:23 | Today's RNS refers to an article in the Sunday Times that Barratts was on the point of collapse. It also makes clear that this is pretty irrelevant to TCSC and that the Apperley Bridge site should get planning permission for residential. It's a decent area, lots of new housing (mid/high range) and near to Leeds. Horsforth station is a good mile away. What does jar a bit is that the deal may have been done with just this scenario in mind. | jonwig
18/10/2013 07:11 | AGM is 19 Nov: It doesn't give a time (I don't think the Notice of AGM has been sent out yet), but it was - I think - 10:30am last year, at Merrion House. I won't go this year. I agree about Merrion Centre developments - lots of potential. New sites such as Trinity should lift the whole of central Leeds. Car parks are a big cash generator, but of course income is outside the REIT remit, so not all of their dividend is a PID. | jonwig
17/10/2013 22:39 | sorry chucked it later this month I think | chairman20
17/10/2013 17:49 | chairman when is it please. I will try if free. I know the ZIFF family as my Children were at Leeds Girls. Leeds is about to explode with new investment. THE MC council deal is superb. tiger | castleford tiger

27/9/2013 08:42 | IC says Town Centre: enjoy the high yield and await re-rating Bull points 5.1 per cent dividend yield 24 per cent discount to NAV Property markets bottoming out in regional cities Strong long-term track record Secure debt Town Centre Securities (TCSC) owns properties in Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh - just the kind of big regional cities that should benefit as the commercial property recovery spreads beyond London. Yet its shares are cheap. Having lagged the market over the past year, they trade at less than three-quarters forecast book value. With limited risk of further property writedowns and ample scope for a share price re-rating and property valuation gains as investors warm to the potential of a regional property market recovery, we think now is prime time for investors to bag a well-covered 5.1 per cent dividend yield while awaiting more upside. | inki
27/9/2013 07:31 | IC says 'buy'. Part of reason is rotation out of over-priced central London: ...a low-risk income stock with long-term recovery potential and a regional property focus that is just starting to come back into vogue. Buy. | jonwig
18/9/2013 22:26 | market likes it? same issues remain. | chairman20
18/9/2013 08:44 | Final results - much the same outcome as expected, and unchanged on last year. Leeds is a good spot, and not just for the majors. With triple NAV of 285p (debenture marked to par, not to market) the discount looks unduly wide. Debt isn't an issue, as the debenture is dated 2031 and the facility is little more than half drawn down. | jonwig
13/8/2013 08:16 | still strongly rising - so much for the head and shoulders theory | chairman20
06/8/2013 17:36 | Great chart - bought in last week. Also 6% yield - thanks very much | essential
01/7/2013 07:31 | Have all the quarter day rents been paid? Several retailers failed last week. | peter27
01/7/2013 06:54 | Not to my knowing - Trinity Leeds seems to be a big success since open. | jonwig

02/5/2013 12:49 | Simon Thompson covers again in Investors' Chronicle. Subscription only, conclusion is: Ahead of a trading update in mid-May, I remain a buyer of Town Centre's shares on a bid-offer spread of 195p to 200p. I still believe that a run up in the share price to around 230p is possible, to provide us with 15 per cent upside. I haven't a date for any May IMS. | jonwig
06/3/2013 08:26 | just confirmed with selftrade and they have sold for 207.9xd. | manrobert
06/3/2013 08:05 | doesnt look like they have adjusted price for xd.i could sell at 205 and keep div?? | manrobert
04/3/2013 19:38 | jonwig,many thanks. | manrobert
04/3/2013 19:30 | manrobert - you have it right. The earlier date is a late payment of the final div for tax reasons. Either because of rule changes regarding REITs or the lowering of top-rate tax for individuals, both of which take effect on 5 April. | jonwig
04/3/2013 19:10 | can somebody explain the div situation here.as i understand it the shares are going xd on the 6th march in respect of the final div of 7.34 and payable on 8th april.they are also going xd on29th may in respect of the recently announced int div of3.1p and payable on 28th june.is this correct? | manrobert |
