Another 1,900,000 shares now in issue. That makes nearly 400,000,000 which means to justify a share price rise of 1p the company will have to increase its value by £4,000,000. Those who are expecting the shares to rise to £1 might consider that that would value the company at £400m.!!!!!

Lets get this right TTH has aquired a company with £11.3 million debt and only £578,000 tangible assets and has paid £5.35 million.
So they have aquired what must be a highly unprofitable company. How could it amass £11.3 million debt and have no property and such tiny tangible assets.
This deal at the moment stands them at £ 16.38 million before restructuring and refurbishment costs all of which will be down the pan if profitability is not increased considerably .
Surely an extremely high risk deal.

Speaking as an ex-TTH holder, who took a 50%loss to get out,the trouble is quite simple. The board of TTH know how to run Bingo halls very well. Alas they do not know how to run a PLC. They think if the Bingo halls do well, that the share price will go up.We all know that AIM shares are driven by future growth potential. Not the same

mcap approx £20million....not expensive considering the properties they own,
before anyone says it, i know the latest aquisition does not include freeholds however the positive income more than compensates imho.

Go, see the OTHER strand 'The truth HURTS' This is a company in dire need of sensible direction and NEW THOUGHT.

I didn't realise I had to be a holder to have an opinion... oh that's right, I don't. I did hold nearly half a million of these (for a couple of months) in 2004 and have kept them on my screen since selling out after their interims at about 8.25p. I believe everything I said was true and the shares are about 20% overvalued. I had initially intended to buy back in at 5p, but this new deal is TERRIBLE for the company (just compare it to some of the other acquisitions they have made in the past on far more favourable terms).

Today's rise is simply an increase in the spread so the mm are hedging their bets. More expensive to buy the stock, but they wont pay you any more if you want to sell.

goliard.....what is the point of your post ? if you are a holder it serves no sensible purpose, if you are not, unless you are attempting to de-ramp in order to buy at a lower price what is your interest here at all ?

Results out. Not great really. Growth seems to have come from acquisition only. The purchase of the new clubs looks like a mistake as they have assumed and refinanced 11 million or so of debt along with the payment for the actual business. This makes it a very expensive buy indeed at around 16 million for a company making 1.5 million a year profit. This would be ok if they owned the sites, but the new tangible assets are only about 0.5 million, so it looks like they're all leased. In reality this was more of a merger than an acquisition and Westvale got top dollar.

In my opinion it's a sell down to 4p.

I can remember sitting at the Mears AGM about three years ago and being told by one of the City's most prominent tipsters that TTH was likely to be 'the NEW Mears'. Well, the tipster has been summarily retired - although only 52 - but is, now, working for a Unit Trust which I take the trouble to avoid. TTH has indeed been a major disappointment. If I understand the comments there seems the opinion that the Directors dont really know where they are going. Vividly do I recall the announcement that they had bought in......Tonypandy!!! I suspect they dont really know where they ARE. The only thing, now, is wait for the bid, which could be a long time and short of cash when it arrives.

Snap!! The only possible difference is that I took a real immediate hit of £5k, when I realised that TTH were going nowhere. I put it down to experience (no bloody choice, had I), but still feel sick at the thought. Still it wasn't just us who got it wrong. I bought in after an institutional investor contact mentioned it to me. They were wrong as well. Trouble is that the management people at TTH are small time "Ltd" style players, who have got involved in running a plc. They earn a salary, you loose money!!

Its up to you, but I think its best you consider taking a loss. Otherwise be prepared to wait forever.

P.S Never take much notice of advice on these threads, even from the so-called experts (or me). They use big words and talk as if the work for the LSE, but usually are more stupid than we are.

Good luck.

Wish I could share your optimism. Its going nowhere very slowly. I would be exceptionally happy were I wrong, I invested heavily @ 9p. on what I thought was good advice and stupidly I did not do my research. Now that I have the best is the shares are worth approx. 5p. They were hyped about 18 months ago and that has now evaporated. It will take something spectacular to get them up again and that does not mean the results which in my opinion will put 1p max on value.
