Just thought I'd let you know I joined you here today :)

I looked at SNX a while ago and can't remember why I passed them up. Having reviewed them last night though, decided to take an initial position this morning.

Yeah your right IC2, it is for £7M. I read it as '9' and i can see why now as it was expressed as 'GBP7' and it looked like a 9 to me.

I should have gone to specsavers. ;-)

Still make it £7.0m, but could be worth more with expected additional work and maintenance.

I like the fact that they are gaining contracts from all sectors, we knew that Industrial Systems and Oil and Gas industry had been particulary strong, and now they are picking up large contracts from their new singapore office.

Like you said cfro, SNX are looking a much stronger zulu type growth stock now.

Actually it was for a £9M contract IC2.

Investment case becoming stronger here imo. Fridays £7.0m contract not in the brokers most recent estimates, and significant new business win for the new Singapore office.

Fantastic news today. Extremely pleased with the newsflow coming from this company. Should be a good year.

They were tipped in IC this morning with a forecast of 10% growth this year without being able to take into account today's news. Today's news already adds 10% growth!! The only problem is it's now a huge part of my portfolio and more growth will make it a biiger slice of my holdings.Nervy.

Very good news his morning, and very hard to buy, I managed a small top up in the end with a fill/kill order @ 372.55p, surprised I could buy at that price :o)

I thought these results looked strong also, cash flow also looks impressive with EPS beating estimates. The important point is that the outlook statement for 2013 sound confident.

Really sorry, but my meeting with Synectics Directors planned for tomorrow after the results has been cancelled by them (no reason given). I was booked in for 11:30-12:30, but they can't make it now. Never mind.

I just wanted to apologise to people here who had taken the trouble to respond to my earlier post about putting forward questions. These things happen, I guess.

On the 7th January SNX announce a cctv contract win only on their company website, but it wasn't announced via an RNS. The contract was for the huge £18 + billion GTL plant in Qatar, which covers 2.5 square kilometres. No financial details but it sounds like it offers large future potential, yet they issued an RNS for the £2.7m contract with Avon and Somerset police which they described as significant?

It would be interesting to hear what they have to say about the Qatar contract.
