18/4/2016 16:07 | Thanks, but you missed a bit. 2.7p target !!! Sula Iron & Gold (LON:SULA) has announced initial results from its fieldwork programme. The first stage of the fieldwork has involved sampling of goldstone and sulphide stone located within SULA’s tenement area. The results were encouraging and highlight the potential for further mineralisation in the area. The weighted average grade of the goldstones sampled was 5.21g/t Au and SULA interpret these stones as close to its primary source which is appropriate, in our view, given the results of prior exploration and the anecdotal evidence from artisanal miners. The sulphide stones which are less frequently occurring than the oxidised goldstones may suggest that sulphide mineralisation underlies the known oxidised mineralisation. In addition to the grab sampling programme, which demonstrates the strong potential for further mineralisation, SULA has revaluated the data from the November 2015 drill programme. This has resulted in additional mineralisation being confirmed in two further drill holes meaning that the frequency of gold occurrences across the programme increased from 70% to 80%. Although this means the weighted average grade over the drill programme is marginally lower at 4.21g/t Au (4.48g/t Au previously), the strike length of the shear zone is now 480m versus 350m yet remains open at depth. The initial results are encouraging and we await the outstanding assay results from the grab sampling programme alongside the Induced Polarisation survey which is due to commence imminently. We reiterate our Speculative Buy recommendation and target price of 2.7p/sh. | dicko80

16/4/2016 16:44 | Oh dear barracuda put up a brave fight and the line snapped, gone back out to sea. However, a great white shark and a guppy are circling. If the guppy takes a bite ill keep it for the future in my aquarium. Hee hee hee! | escapetohome
15/4/2016 16:16 | Looks like a fairly bullish update to me (and you all know my feelings about Sula, I'm not a fan)HOWEVER - my guess is the next fundraising is just round the corner and this is being used to try and get the price up before they finalise things. And the price rising before the announcement shows that Nick runs a leaky organisation!!.....T | failedqs
15/4/2016 15:57 | Do you not think it's an odd time to release this news !? Seems they've rushed this out instead of releasing it Monday ? Or is there more on Monday ? Hmmm | dicko80 |
