Exercise of Options, Directors' Dealing and Total Voting Rights
Sportech PLC ("Sportech" or the "Company") announces that the Directors referred to below have received ordinary shares of 50p each in the Company ("shares") under the terms of the Company's long term incentive plan (the "Plan").
Following the dealings as set out below, Ian Penrose, Chief Executive Officer of Sportech increased his beneficial interest in the Company by 100,000 shares to 950,000 from 850,000 shares, and Mickey Kalifa, Chief Financial Officer of Sportech, increased his beneficial interest in the Company by 41,205 to 89,613 shares from 48,408 shares.
The shares were exercised on 22 December 2016 for nil consideration pursuant to awards granted under the Plan on 2 December 2011 and 8 March 2012. These awards vested in December 2014 and March 2015, but have been unable to be exercised until now, due to ongoing corporate activity.

Following the exercise of options, Sportech's share capital consists of 206,238,048 ordinary shares of 50p with voting rights. There are no ordinary shares held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Sportech is 206,238,048.
The above figure (206,238,048) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Sportech PLC under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
