I like GGG too so be kind but I also bought 150k of SCR last week at 1.6p.

Will take most of my turn at better than 2.4p.

I smell a deal, Alistar is a bright chap who may have made a poor call in the past but I doubt he will repeat it. Few of us are infallible gods!

There is actually a lot of Goodwill in China towards this company because it has been there a while, that is a real asset.

There once was a ramperous fellow
Whose intentions were perfectly clear
He liked gold - all shiny and yellow -
said Central China's production was near

But his favourite stock, well it floundered
And the share price it dropped to 9p
And he and his rampers astounded
By accusing poor Simon and me

Well, he decided on punitive action
and elected to post on this thread;
said we were a cheerleading faction
(which ain't true if you look what we said)

Are GGG's long term holders now selling?
Whilst they claim that nothing is finer
Do we know where the money is going?
Well, perhaps, is it into South China?

Will that do, RA1?

I've made it clear where my money has gone recently, BTW. However, SCR taught me not to put all my eggs in one basket (after Silvercorp svm.to which taught me to put all my eggs in one basket). I confess I did buy some SCR very recently and am already in paper profit. Its just a wild punt though which I think any investment in this stock is until news.

From the GGG thread -
RA1 - 1 Dec'06 - 08:58 - 10009 of 18085
...
My personal view is fundraising has been extremely successful & that when we have the news release the stock will be north of 20p.

Gossips reckon a joint venture for South China Resources (LSE: SCR.L - news) (SCR) is on the cards. Daily Express says this according to Yahoo press round-up. Wols has been talking to the Express then. :-)

Monis, I've no idea, I think it was about £3m at the AGM, so perhaps 2m or 1.5p per share

Out of interest do you know approx how much cash scr has left if any?

Its just speculation:

Evos buy a big stake for themselves for someone else
They tell the board who is staying and who is going
They reverse in some new management / projects
and probably dilute the hell out of the existing directors's holdings

Just a guess

I agree - he should have gone long ago. It seems to me that Evos are getting rid of dead wood to do something new with this company.

Wasn't he something to do with procurement? A Uruguayan citizen? with US citizenship? that had worked for a Japanese company? in China? All from vague memory. With no Danfeng, one wonders what work he had to do over the last few months.

Suddenly none available on offer; and not because the market just closed. Not even 10k online.
