All the people who sold out on Friday must be having meltdowns today on this news!!!! You have to trust your own research when you buy shares and don't let MM scare you into selling as they tried on Friday the only people they look out for is themselves!! Big congratulations to all those who hold and id like to thank @carz911 on twitter for the original tip outstanding research from him !!

Based on the 3d data, the gas find, the potential oil find, and big players wanting to farm in, I would keep hold of my shares.A lot more to come from South Disouq..:-)

Expectations are high and if either gas or oil, or both, are discovered then it will be transformational to the company. It looks pretty optimistic on both fronts - the 3D seismic showed an AVO response which significantly de-risks the gas play and the oil play is 'pervasive' in the block.

PW has been hinting alot in all the recent podcast and interviews, the link below after 7 mins will give you a clue. Within a short period of time they can get this in production i.e 3 months....

So 186m shares in circulation
Sale at 1bn would mean £5.37

So back to reality.. today's discovery may add 1.07 (as per tournesols calc), but only when in production and connected to a pipeline.. Any idea how long that could take?

( obviously short term share price revaluation coming)( imho 10-20p)

Just google Eni Nooras field within a year they are pumping over 40k boepd ...

What's really interesting is that this gas find was fully expected predrill.. 90% success rate was correct then..... :-)

@someuwin - any idea what the share price would be to sell at 1bn?

Shares in issue are about 80m

=> valuation of 1bn would mean share price of 1.25£

I tend to err on the lower side of expectations ( rarely does any share mutlibag straight away .. so modest increase tomorrow of maybe 10-20p? For gas discovery until more detailed info available)

It says in the Shares Mag article in the header that PW hinted that they might look to sell out at $1bn valuation once they get to 20k boepd.

Today's news brings that point a lot closer.

Agreed del best not to get too carried away but I think we can afford ourselves a nice celebration today because if nothing else now SDX ought to start to find it's truer valuation.
