03/8/2007 07:30 | well, what does everyone think of the results? | cupasoup2006
11/7/2007 09:23 | You could see the signs over the last 18 months that they were struggling for cash. The recent 30k raised was the final give away. At least they will have a bit of cash in the bank after they pay back the loans. I hope they spend it wisely rather than use it on running expenses. The only way forward as I see it is a takeover that's unless they can open up more centres in the North. | droftarts
11/7/2007 09:16 | Soccercity sells UK indoor centre to Holyrood for 697,000 stg cash LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Soccercity PLC said it has agreed to dispose of the business and assets of its indoor football centre at Fareham, Hampshire, including contracts and employees, to Holyrood for 697,000 stg cash. The operator of football facilities and children's play centres said the net sale proceeds will be used to invest in its remaining football centres, the development of new business at these centres, and to repay outstanding debt. In the year to Jan 31, 2007, the Fareham centre recorded turnover of 718,000 stg and a profit of 191,000 stg, before depreciation and certain central group costs, Soccercity said. | cyberpost

09/7/2007 08:56 | again...... does anyone know when their results are due out??? | cupasoup2006
06/7/2007 15:57 | I hadn't realised that they had a website. Looks fairly up todate and with the recent bad weather they should be pulling in the crowds especially in school holidays. I will be looking forward to the next update. | droftarts
03/7/2007 08:17 | anyone know when their results are due out? | cupasoup2006
27/6/2007 14:25 | I agree it is a bad sign. It looks as if it will cover a couple of weeks running costs. I just hope that there is someone out there who wants the company before it's too late. | droftarts
27/6/2007 14:22 | Is £30k a record for the lowest amount ever raised in a share placing. NB - that is BEFORE expenses. Why not just do a loan from the directors??? Very bad sign............... | 2lb
22/5/2007 16:06 | still no sign of results - anyone know when they are due? | cupasoup2006
19/3/2007 22:15 | This share has massive takeover potential, though nowhere near being a market leader, the current market leaders PowerLeague and Goals currently run 34 and 33 pitches each respectively with both having far greater market caps than SOC.L modest 0.5mln and the extra 4 facilities that Soccercity run would give either a slight edge in terms of the size of their facilities, plus the extra customer base that Soccercity has which in the year ended 2006 brang in £2m in sales revenue which is a lot better than the £0.70m registered in 2004. How many businesses get massive increases in sales revenue within just 2-3 years. With adequate funding behind it this company would become more consolidated or even better could be a juicy takeover target for either Powerleague or Goals. DYOR | geraldinho99

11/12/2005 11:39 | the complete lack of volume means the shares move lower ; 3 - 3.5p now, fine, spread is more reasonable like this i guess. hopefully the world cup now in sight may help rekindle interest in these companies (PWR abd GOAL of course the main players); here's hoping.............. | upside potential
08/12/2005 16:53 | I think all shares seem to go through boring patches, some more boring than others of course, results are out in July I think and they may issue a trading statement in feb like they did last year. | johnyee7
