Mikeran - was aware of the story yesterday but thanks for raising it - the MS downgrade probably accounted for most of the fall then - other brokers take a different view - watching closely - thanks again for posting

Locket- read this morning that BT.A downgraded to 160p on expected low growth figures over next three years.

BT fell 10.25p to 196.25p as Morgan Stanley said the telecoms operator would achieve sales growth of just 0.1% in the next three years - most in the City were expecting growth of about 3%, The Independent says. Morgan believes the market should not expect earnings growth of more than 1%, a level far from favourable when compared with others in the European telecoms arena. The US broker reckons that even after yesterday's drop, BT shares have further to fall and downgraded its rating to underweight and set a bearish 160p target price.

Skinny - seems to faff around for 10 mins then asks permission to overwrite old version then speeds up a bit, disk should be busy, all in 15 mins on my P350.

Morning ladies and gents. Good luck all. 13.30 US data and for once, and uncertain ECB decision - 0.25% cut expected, could be 0.25% either side of that though IMO. MPC will be unch.
