Don't think so, just needs to be larger, no?

Thanks 'yes yes'.
That's the one.

So, I don't know a lot about the AIM takeover rules.
Does the wording suggest it'll be a previously listed (or currently suspended) AIM company we take over?

"The Company has submitted a binding proposal for the acquisition of a company and has been notified that it is the preferred bidder, and has entered into an eight week exclusivity period, in a formal process which, if completed on the currently proposed terms, would be classified as a reverse takeover under the AIM Rules for Companies."

How do you know about that?

We have an eight-week 'exclusivity' arrangement so plenty of time to get it over the line.

Well, I'm getting impatient. I know these deals are tricky to get over the line...

Well, I'd assumed they done all the donkey work before the name change?

I wouldn't envisage too long. They would probably have done the 'donkey work' before they RNS'd and suspended. Dotting i's and crossing t's now I should imagine. Eager to know what the target company is all about though!

I'm sure the bod will set up ltip and start issuing themselves shares and options... Which is fine, my plan is to try to keep on top of any dilution and maintain the holding level of the CEO!

I bought some because of the Bod track record as well.

Well, I asked over on the Breedon board about the dilution "effect" . They had a 10 bagger over 5 years, with triple dilution..

Me too. The BoD seem to have a good track record so the aspirations are entirely plausible.

Yes there are many variants but it would be difficult to see this return at a lower share price with a pre-suspension market cap of only 1mn.

Not sure how it will work. In the old dot com days, you ended up with a massive hike in the market cap, after the suspension was lifted... Depends how many shares they issue and we'll have to guess the value of the acquirer?
zcaprd7

Also as the market cap is so tiny as you say then a reasonable RTO could mean a multiple of that when it's complete.

Tricky one, there was some discussion on this thread a while back about some potential acquisitions. A RTO suggests something big and juicy, not a part share of something? Although the market cap is so tiny, a fish and chip would constitute a RTO here....

zcaprd7, any knowledge or inclination of what this intended target may be and where it's situated?

Indeed. I made sure I had the exact same amount as the CEO....
