15/8/2007 09:05 | off-topic pt any views on packaging share.... cvl I just did a tiny trade to test the water my buy got put in the sell column ;-) (2682 at 0.85p) why did I dip my toe? well, I asked myself, why did the first buyer embrace a 0.25 - 1.25 spread he must be confident of getting his money back (12500 quid)? | andrbea

12/8/2007 12:26 | KP It is very difficult to predict what will happen to the housing market. The economy in the UK is still good, there is still a shortage of propertys and most analysts expect interest rates to be peaking at around 6%. I would expect house prices to level out, or even a slight drop, but I do not expect a crash. I just remember 3-4 years ago people suggesting that the property boom had ended. House prices have risen another 30-40% since. I remember one guy selling his 4 bed house approx 4 years ago for 170k. He told me it would not be worth this money again. Now its worth over 300k. bb | boilerboy

02/8/2007 21:50 | KP My post 266 is an example of a small contract for TSE. Still good money. The thing with ULT is that a similar valued contract would have been a large contract for them. bb | boilerboy |
