Posted at 01/8/2007 11:31 by chancer6 Thanks for all the research andrbea. What I really like is that I expect the newsflow to be very regular and hence these will stay on investors radars. I don't mind waiting a few weeks for big rises. IMO these will get to 2 pence sooner rather than later. |
Posted at 31/7/2007 08:56 by power talker Im still shaking my head here at how intelligent investors have missed this.On bb after bb you here talk of RTOs, but never do you get a cracke like this..Maybe buyers not already in think there must be a twist here, as its too good to be true.. |
Posted at 31/7/2007 07:33 by power talker Boilerboy. I agree this RTOand SFd seem to have been overlooked by the majority of investors..I suspect we will get frequent contract news as TSE picks up orders from various sporting bodies.Should see us rise today, i would expect 350k of buys to send us blue. |
Posted at 19/5/2007 18:44 by boilerboy This is what has happened in the last 6 months:-28th March 2007..Name change from Media Steps(STEP) to Sandford(SFD. Appointment of new board for Sandford to seek RTO. 18th April 2007..Placing raising 1.067 million pounds. The company now has net cash balances of 1.2 million:- Following completion of the Placing the Company will have net cash balances of approximately #1.2 million, which will enable the management to consider a number of potential suitable acquisitions. The new Board intends to move quickly to complete a suitable acquisition and looks forward to making a further announcement in due course. I like the bit that says "quickly". They obviously have a rto lined up in my opinion, hence the reason of the placing of 1 million pounds with private investors at 0.75 pence which was the full share price at that time. The investors must be confident. There has also been a few large Buy trades since. DYOR as always but im feeling confident hence the reason for me investing £10k. Come on Sandford, I could do with 1 big winner this year!! bb |
Posted at 09/5/2007 16:12 by boilerboy Some suggest that the share price may be over valued. Maybe it is, who knows, it depends what happens. The recent rns below details a placing of shares with private investors at a price of 0.75p. I also noticed that 2 of the directors also subsribed to 5 million shares each at the placement price, so i guess that these guys must know that the share price is good value.RNS Number:0542V Sandford PLC 18 April 2007 For immediate release 18 April 2007 Sandford Plc ("Sandford" or the "Company") Placing On 27 March 2007 the Board announced that it intended to raise further equity funding for the Company as soon as possible. Posted at 09/5/2007 13:17 by boilerboy seatraderDo some research. The company is a cash shell now and they are to make a RTO before July. A placing was completed in mid April with private investors which raised over 1 million pounds. Bob 40% up. Looking good. Good luck with your investment here. bb |
Posted at 05/5/2007 00:13 by boilerboy This RNS was om the 18th April. It would seem to me that they had a RTO lined up which i would guess we are close to completing. It must also underpin the current share price 27 March 2007 the Board announced that it intended to raise further equity funding for the Company as soon as possible. The Board is pleased to announce that it has today placed 141,900,000 ordinary shares of nominal value 0.1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") with a number of investors at a price of 0.75 pence per Ordinary Share (the "Placing Price") to raise a total of #1,064,250 before expenses (the "Placing").
