New era of oil and gas in Indonesia
March 9, 2018

Prahoro Nurtjahyo, adviser on investment and infrastructure development at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, explains the new gross-split regime, the legal framework behind it and its expected impact on Indonesia£s oil and gas industry. The terms of PSCs were overhauled when the government opted to switch from a cost-recovery model to a gross-split model, removing the burden of cost recovery from the government and courting foreign investors with more attractive terms.

in short there is a deal making that may change the previous deal
in a longer way

On 16 February 2018, Saffron Energy, the pan Euro Asian gas explorer announced that it had published a circular to shareholders comprising an AIM admission document ("AIM Admission Document"), convening a general meeting at which shareholders were invited to approve, inter alia, the proposed acquisitions of SEHIL and PVO and the issue of shares necessary to complete the fundraising announced on 22 January 2018.

The Company is expecting to update investors shortly regarding its South East Asian acquisitions and a fundamental change to an element of the transaction which will likely require the publication of a supplementary AIM admission document. As the Company is not yet in a position to give details of a termination agreement in respect to that element of the transaction that is in the process of negotiation, it has requested a short, temporary suspension of trading in its shares pending announcement of an agreement in respect of that element of the transaction and publication of the Supplementary AIM Admission Document,

A further announcement will be made as soon as possible but in any event, no later than Tuesday 27 February, when the Company intends to update investors on its activities in South East Asia and the proposed acquisitions of SEHIL and PVO.

One of the most successful CEO on the London Alternative Investment Market (AIM), James Parsons, and his team will be also talking about the developments and progress with his Italian gas operations and the new venture with Saffron Energy / Coro Energy, the proposed new name chosen the re-launching of the Italian natural gas producer Saffron Energy, who came to market (IPO) in February 2017. The market waits with baited breathe (sic)….

Also, Fiona MacAulay presenting for ECHO if anyone here interested.

No great surprise.. cash has been a niggling doubt for me on this share for a while so at least they've squared that away while they build production.

Disappointed with timing with Q3 results out shortly, could placing have been at a higher price if they'd waited, was this the 'price' of investors participating at not a huge discount or are Q3 figures not that exciting?!

2vdm,

I can't actually add anything concrete but I agree with your thoughts. I've seen Masterman evasive in enough interviews when he could, and should, have nailed certain matters and tackled questions plainly. I've also noted his always underlying soft spoken preference for letting things build gradually, and that revenue could be improved in many ways not just by tweaking production but also by acquisitions if they came up. None of it gives the confidence investors and potential investors seek.

And I say that as a holder based on fundamentals as I understand them and almost now back above water. I hope if there are any surprises they are of the good sort.

@2Vdm - high risk Share IMHO .. but possibly good returns

hxxps://saffronenergy.co.uk/investors/financial-reports/

Cash burn was high last year and cash reserves are low (65% owned by PO valley energy ltd).. but lots of infrastructure in place (pipelines and connectivity to gas processing) and Bezzecca will make the cash they need to kick on .. flow rates due in May and gas production within 2-3 months.

Scotty, I dont disagree that these are not headed to 12p. I do disagree with the serial ramper BMD completely fabricating his 'news' then referencing his own website - trying to deceive investors.

Apart from they can't distinguish between Million cubic feet and Thousand cubic feet in the Sillaro section of the admission rns.

Plus they mixed £ and Euro in the Feb 2017 Investor Presentation.

Plus the email address on the Feb 2017 investor presentation keeps getting bounced.

If the BOD want to gain trust, then they have to prove that they can get the basics correct to start with.
