Thanks Rivaldo, I was just trying to stimulate discussion.

If everyone did their own research and made their minds up what would be teh point of BB's?

RHEP up 2.7% overnight in Oz:

Welcome zhockey. RHEP's core drilling fluids business looks to be having a much better year and has excellent growth potential - and the North Sea exploration is about to finally bear fruit.

Remember there's not only the Athena field coming on stream this year, but also a number of other prospects, which with all the recent success in the North Sea should be becoming more and more valuable.

Discussion is always welcome, but I can see LR2's point - your questions were either ones which you seemingly knew the answers to already, or could be looked up quickly, or are incapable of being answered (i.e why a major shareholder should be buying or selling - could be any of a dozen different reasons).

BB are for bouncing ideas around and I appreciate that others may have a different take on events. On other boards for stocks that I am familiar with I have always gone out of my way to answer questions.

I have a small 100K punt in here and don't have time to trawl through countless RNS's when a few insightful comments from other posters would do the trick.

Suggest you get back to this bloke (see below), he seems to have a feel for what's happening here and he also appears to be a mate of yours. Now please stop asking questions when you already have the answers.

LGO does look good, however has struuggled to meet production targets past couple of years.
Have a look at RHEP, it's 10% of athena oil field, prod due to start q4. Operator is Ithaca who know how to produce from the north sea. 2000 bopd at £28mil mkt/cap not to be sniffed at.

Oh! And you really should research first and then buy in. Not the other way round. As if.

I'm a new holder, bought today just trying to get a feel for the stock.

What's the deal with Athena, 2000 bopd for 10 years?

On whose behalf have Gartmore been acquiring a stake?

Into whose hands is that stake now being placed?

Why are you asking questions where you already know the answers?

Why are the funds selling out if the future is so bright?

I think you will find that the muds business is doing very nicely.

So what's the upside here, 2000 bopd from Athena?

Are the Oil services profitable?

Happy New Year all - and we have our fist uptick.

Good to see the share price move on a mere 30k buy.

Best wishes and good luck to all holders. Quietly confident and hopeful that 2011 will be a good one for this one. Just need a slightly higher profile to get on the radar of more P.I.'s.perhaps....but then again this seems a very civilised board at the moment and an invasion by "muppets" will dispel any doubts we may have that this is a winner.

rivaldo thanks I have been holding and following for some time due to RHEP's Ithaca Energy and Xtract Energy associations which are two other shares I hold.

Good luck all.

RHEP is one of my 5 picks for 2011 in the uk stockchallenge comp.

If you fancy entering for a bit of fun and a chance at the prise its easy to do so.

Agreed eric76 - I'm surprised at the lack of attention this morning, even given that it's Xmas Eve. Still, it's not been a bad year for RHEP....potentially 2011 could be even better imho.

This has become a real "good news" co. recently with these recent contract wins. they do sound like the oil services business has really picked up again.
What with that and the North Sea farm in with Ithica I wouldn't be surprised to see them as a bit of a star for 2011.

RNS out - a new client and contract. Must be material too given the issuing of an RNS:

"New Supply Agreement in New Zealand

Rheochem plc, the oil and gas business with oil services, production, development and exploration assets is pleased to announce that its 100% owned New Zealand subsidiary Rheochem Pacific Ltd has been awarded the supply of drilling fluids and related engineering services to TAG Oil NZ Ltd "TAG" for its 2011 Onshore Taranaki Basin drilling campaign. The supply agreement is for an initial five wells with the potential to add a further three wells based on drilling success.

TAG is a 100% owned subsidiary of TAG Oil Ltd., a Canadian TSX listed company with international operations in New Zealand. The Company holds a drill-ready prospect inventory that covers more than 3,500 sections of land in the Taranaki and East Coast basins, including a 100% interest in the producing Cheal oil and gas discoveries now under appraisal and development.

Haydn Gardner, CEO of Rheochem said:

"We are very pleased that TAG has chosen Rheochem to provide these services for their Taranaki operations in New Zealand in 2011. This is a new oil and gas customer for us in New Zealand and builds on the geothermal contracts already in place.""

Eric, there was a 76k buy at 13p, i.e £10k, which was evidently enough to push the price up.

I have to say I'm very optimistic about this one for 2011 from the point of view of both the core drilling fluids business and news flow and (finally) gushing oil revenues from the Athena field and developments from the other North Sea prospects.
