|Yeah the volume isn't indicating anything otherwise. Maybe a few people were short and being forced to close by their broker with not much stock around.|
|only 5,600 shares bought for more than 26p. Misguided I think..|
|Somebody paying 27p here, do they know something we don't or are they misguided?|
|yes, during Xmas. Hope they don't send cheques, might get lost in the post...|
|Nice to have a timescale now.
Trading in REDT shares to be suspended on 15th December and money paid out within 14 days. So basically by the end of the calendar year.|
|Finally. And 60%+ undertakings, so sure to go ahead unless something untoward turns up. Well done, all holders.
The directors seem sure it's in the best interests of the staff and the business.|
|26p it is..|
|Deadline day today?|
|What's the timetable now?|
|And then another 2 weeks it seems.|
|they have another month to do so.|
|ijet not confirmed raised offer price and clearly not yet buying in the market so by no means a done deal.|
|Yes BB I would be happy to be on the otherside of that!|
|Seems a winning formula :))|
|MrChrissSo you have sold at circa 21p on the basis that 26p undervalues the the company? Im sure investors would be keen to understand the logic applied to that decision.|
|26p still feels undervalued to me. I've now sold.|
|As the deadline for making the bid was Bank Holiday Monday, they obviously felt an extension granted to the likely bidder was preferable. Better that than withdrawing from the action altogether. As it turns out, 26p looks better subject to due diligence.|
|I don't like these after-hours announcements, especially just before a bank holiday weekend. It looks like they are trying to hide something.
In this case though it looks as if there will be an agreed bid at 26p. Deadline extended for another month until the end of September.|
|26p + 0.3p div. I will take that.
|What's the timetable under the Code?|
|I will check to see if Philip went. He was at the Staffline presentation on Monday.
If nobody attended then I may ask if we can have a conference call as the Agm was very poorly flagged and no RNS so I only spotted it too late to book in this year.|
|I guess the offer will make for some interesting AGM discussions. I won't make it tho I'm afraid.|
|David - was planning to as I have attended the last 2 but got a last minute clash of meetings so won't be going. I saw Philip Hayton there last year but not sure if he is still a holder.|
|Anyone going to the Agm in the morning ?|
|In reply to an earlier question ... I believe REDT is eligible for IHT relief, like most AIM stocks. The exclusions seem to be those companies that are potential tax-avoidance schemes, such as property companies.
Most AIM companies qualify but a company’s business "must not be
wholly or mainly that of: dealing in securities, stocks and shares, dealing in land or buildings, or making or holding investments (unless that of a market maker or discount house)".
So REDT seems to be well clear of any exclusions for IHT relief.|
