Glencore's plans trigger cobalt price rally to six-month high
September 2019

Cobalt rose to $17.5 per lb in the past week, a gain of more than 30% since early August, when commodity trader and miner Glencore said Mutanda would close from the end of this year for two years. Glencore chief executive Ivan Glasenberg said the mine's economic viability had deteriorated because of low cobalt prices.

Placing of new stocks - bad thing, no placing - bad thing. JMS stocks no sale - bad, sale 1.5M shares - also bad. LOL.

Cash will come from JV partner. 1.2M oz JORC worth about $20-30M. So $2.5M not a big problem. And dont forget RRR have $4.8M in JMS.

What do you think the Kenya projects value is? Could Para be line up to spend some of the 10m they have just raised?

@goldfund

So if they have naff all cash, and need $2.5m if they get the license back, then where will that cash come from? If a JV partner has to stump it up then they'll want the lion's share of the project returns won't they leaving RRR with crumbs as usual. El Limon anyone?

Asking 0.53p at present which is up on the 0.48p a few weeks ago - can buy up to 2 million shares at 0.528p. Not much, as these events in Kenya move very slowly indeed. Needs a lot more patience and cross our fingers as to the eventual outcome both on this and in DRC.
Problem trading Red Rock is the wide market spread so buying at 0.53p and selling at 0.46p = 13% real spread.

JMS today 0.415 AUD, Red Rock's shareholding - £ 3,82M or 30% bigger than Red Rock market capitalisation. Gold at 1500 $ - so JV for Kenya easy deal.

Well given Bells age now and close to retirement, then its odds on he'll flog the family silver on one last speculative Vegas style punt.

Its in his blood to be reckless with shareholders money and why pass the CEO mantle onto someone else with a large JMS holding?

Bell will not relinquish this until all of JMS has been sold off and suitable "expensed" - after which the baton will be passed onto junior.

Let's not forget also that the £1m worth of outstanding CLNs that were rolled
over from last Dec will have to be paid down this Dec unless they agree to kick
the can down the road for yet another year.

Where's all this cash going to come from???????

I think we can all guess. . . . . .
