09/8/2019 00:29 | Quite right to talk about cash raising Torp. It looks that or an overdraft/loan against Jupiter shares. However, all a guess. Might be a resource announcement on Musonoi or license awarded for Mid Migori. Matters are mixed and a lot of cash has gone for a paddle up yonder creek, so it would seem. | noirua

08/8/2019 17:19 | Kemche : "Millions upon millions squandered and FA to show for it." You're bang on there sadly. Between 2010 and 2017 this awful BOD raised over £15m via death spiral placings and the like. In that same time period they also spent over £11m just on Admin and other expenses. That's an astonishing and sickening situation. It means close to 75% of the cash raised went simply to salaries and expenses leaving very little for real progression. What possible value is there for shareholders with such a situation???? There is nothing but endless "jam tomorrow" ramping here and endless issues of confetti and CLN's. The share price has been destroyed by these actions imho. The nominal share value has already been lowered from 0.1p to 0.01p so dilution could continue and within 12 months of that a share consolidation also had to be done. Nothing will ever chnage here imho regardless of whatever the latest "new kid on the block" project is. The track record is a woeful history of failed ventures and a preposterous expenditure on salaries and expenses given the tiny MCAP and significant liabilities (£2.7m as at end Dec) Greenland failed, has been sold off for just £1 Ivory Coast failed, went nowhere Migori failed, license was revoked Shoats Creek failed, is being written off Steelmin failed, now in Administration El Limon failed, mine practically given away for no net cash and a useless royalty Yet the same old shameless stooges here continue to pump this POS and ramp whatever the latest venture is. Utter charlatans every one of them. Karma will catch up with them. Is it going to be "bury the bad news Friday" tomorrow ??? Eyes peeled for the oh so inevitable RNS DYOR | torp
08/8/2019 17:11 | And yet another nail in the coffin for dirty Cobalt Batteries Army Research Lab Water-Based Battery Is Lighter, Uses No Cobalt Or Nickel "Researchers at the Army Research Lab in Adelphi, Maryland report they have created lighter batteries with high energy density that use no flammable electrolyte and operate without cobalt or nickel in their chemistry. If the breakthrough can be proven to be stable and durable in real world conditions outside the lab, the implications for batteries for everything from cell phones to electric vehicles to grid scale energy storage could be significant" | torp

08/8/2019 17:04 | Tesla's Megapack Battery Ambitions Could Drain Cobalt Supply Elon Musk unveiled the home battery named Powerwall with a selling price of $3500 for 10kWh and $3000 for 7kWh and very large utility pack called Powerpack. | noirua
08/8/2019 16:28 | The JORC Resource has been a long time coming. Certainly a major overrun and looks as if some are hanging this job out for the duration. The copper resource is most important and the closer it gets to 5%Cu the better. Maybe this is proving to be a task that needs the expertise of a larger outfit. | noirua
08/8/2019 16:14 | I feel for you Noirua I really do. You must be so far down on this share to be spending your time endlessly cut and pasting the same childish silly little one liners to push contrarian posts off the page. Honestly your life would be immeasurably better by taking up a better job, a real job, one that really contributes to society. This share is over imho. Where's the cash coming from? Everyone knows I'm sure which is why nobody is trading it. This BOD have destroyed all value in the share price and will continue to do so imho until large investors remove them. Glencore news is pretty much a disaster. Not Glencore itself but the realisation that mining cobalt is simply not commercially viable for them for the next 2 to 3 years. No point trying to ramp RRR's DRC interest any more imho. You'll have to find a new angle of which there are none TBH. No worries, you'll be able to clock off soon enough, it's not far off 5pm. Drown your losses in a couple of beers on the way home. Then up early in the morning to start the shameless ramping all over again. What a life !!! DYOR | torp
08/8/2019 15:58 | Selling as you did was not that timely as you should have held on until March 2018. 13% was indeed a large holding at the time you bought but your interest in Jupiter will have helped no end. So not so upsetting as it might seem. Well done on JMS - great investing there. | noirua

08/8/2019 15:03 | And the hits just keep on coming . . . . 11 Lithium-Ion Battery Makers That Don’t Need Cobalt "Lithium iron phosphate (LFP), lithium manganese oxide (LMO) and lithium titanate (LTO) batteries are cobalt-free. Despite their lower energy density, LFP batteries “are definitely safer and offer a cycle life similar to the more common NMC batteries,” said Mitalee Gupta, energy storage analyst with GTM Research. Plus, they also work for stationary storage and there are many companies that can supply them. " | torp

08/8/2019 14:46 | And yet another another nail in the coffin for Cobalt, the "blood diamonds of batteries": SVOLT presents cobalt-free Li-ion battery cell ==================== "The battery cell manufacturer SVOLT Energy Technology, which emerged from the Chinese car manufacturer Great Wall, has presented a cobalt-free lithium-ion battery cell (NMx) and the four-element lithium-ion battery cell (NCMA). According to the company, the cobalt-free NMx cell from the up-and-coming battery manufacturer is no less powerful than an NCM-811 cell. At the same time, the material costs are to be reduced by 5 to 15 per cent and the unit costs of the cells by up to 5 per cent. SVOLT did not mention any further details such as the materials used or the structure of the cell – nor a date for the market launch." Dear oh dear. Cobalt prices at an all time low, Glencore shutting down world's largest cobalt mine, manufacturers rapidly creating cobalt free batteries, cobalt deemed the "blood diamonds of the battery world" and companies like Tesla, Panasonic eager to get rid of it. . . . . . Good job we're not heading into Cobalt here isn't it . . . . . Oh wait ! DYOR | torp

08/8/2019 13:39 | Just desperate people, very badly down on their punts here who need mugpunters to buy the shares so they can exit with less of a loss imho. I learned long ago to toally ignore the ramping BS. Much of it is horribly misleading, some of it outright lies, all of it mostly laughable "jam tomorrow" rhetoric. Just look at the long term charts of RRR and RGM and you can see what endless dilution and ridiculous expenditure on Admin and otehr expenses does to the share price here: DYOR | torp

08/8/2019 13:30 | COBALT FREE BATTERIES Another nail in the coffin for Cobalt "Elon Musk tweeted that batteries for the Tesla Model 3 use less than 3 percent of an expensive chemical called cobalt, and the next generation battery “will use none” of the material that some have called the “blood diamond of batteries.” Cobalt is a key component of batteries. It’s also the most expensive material in the battery and mined under conditions that often violate human rights. As a result, scientists and startups are rushing to create a cobalt-free battery. Cobalt future really not that bright then ! DYOR | torp |
