Results were decent enough I thought this morning. Debt is being reduced nicely and once the exceptional items start to fall away it will become more apparent to investors how cheap PUG is at current levels. It also has strong defensive qualities versus the rest of the wider recruitment sector.

Surely 2 x EBIT = £5.67M Less notional 30% tax = £3.97M 10 x taxed EBIT = £39.7M Less debt of £12.8M = £26.9M EV Divide by 45.108M shares = 60p Has been cheap on an EV basis for quite a while and at the moment the market doesn't look interested.

Annualised "non exceptioanl" pre tax profits £4.4m Debt £12.8m Assume PE of 10 for enterprise value = £44.4m Less £12.8m = £31.6m value Share price looks a bargain!

Ive added a few more today. Obviously a big seller is behind the recent move lower. 100k was on offer at 36p which suggests it may take a little while yet to clear them out. Results should be out soon which should generate some interest hopefully. We should get a better idea of what kind of underlying earnings the new business is capable of. I think about 8p in a full year is achievable which makes the shares far too cheap imho.

The prior management had a tendency to say the glass was half empty, which I believe impacted the share price unduly.

agree, screen sizes strong at the mo, can sell 30k at 46.25 and only buy 15k at 48.5. if forecast eps is near 9p, then these are on a p/e of just 5 at this current price!! These could move quite sharply soon if any sort of good news comes out.

Luke Johnson wouldn't be paying a premium (at the time) for shares if it wasn't worth his while imho. Plus he wouldn't be risking his reputation on a co like this if he didn't think that it was going to work. This guy is the chairman of channel 4!!! Over time it will be interesting to see what these do, I am personally very optimistic hence my recent large buys!! I think the upside is massive and downside limited from here.
