28/3/2017 21:48 | Hi guys so im still trying ro figure how many millions of shares have been traded in PVR in the last 2 months, 2 rns's - both forced by 3rd parties, a very busy survey ship, and clock ticking on a massive (in irish waters terms) drill in 75 days ..... how come the share price hasn't moved ? Or am I just totally naiive ? | 1cagney
28/3/2017 19:32 | herm - bolt from the blue required pronto! | steelwatch
28/3/2017 19:27 | Very quiet this week here! Calm before the storm comes to mind.... | hermana3
28/3/2017 19:00 | GD,Capped Healy Rae should buy a few here if he wants to make some money to buy some exotic Easter Eggs.... | hermana3
28/3/2017 16:43 | Quote of the week from the Kerry Independent TD politician "Mr Healy-Rae said he tried to stay calm but he thought "janey mac, that was a tight one." I did not know Michael knew janey mac! He has also got a thing about cows, apparently! GLA, GD | greatfull dead
28/3/2017 15:59 | Emm. I think that one went down like a pork chop at a synagogue! I REST MY CASE...i DON'T DO POLITICS. | funtimejonny
28/3/2017 08:38 | herm - no problem with that - a modern day hero | thevoid
28/3/2017 07:11 | thev,The only real hero left now is our man Donald! Not everyone's favourite but we and he don't really care as the worst politicians are those that want to be loved.... | hermana3
27/3/2017 15:31 | Thanks for that info , herm. I shall check out the book. I don't doubt that he could be difficult. The story I followed was at business level so an insight into the personal would be interesting. I am not a jealous person. I could make you bring out the Kleenex with my story.I am glad that he will not be on his uppers when the time comes. As an aside we went to Chartwell the other week - Churchill - another hero. Cometh the hour ... tv | thevoid
27/3/2017 13:32 | And both Sir Anthony and Management at Bushmills used like having their ring kissed!!! Old man is virtually a recluse nowadays and a shadow of his former gregarious, regal and pompous self. As Prince said when of a promoter who blew his top when Prince called off a concert at short notice " someone should tell that cat to chill".... | hermana3
27/3/2017 13:02 | Well the are a Northern Irish firm after all! | funtimejonny
27/3/2017 12:58 | thev, He has a massively rich wife and all that he has hidden! Lived the good life and continues to do so. Hope his Oil and Gas toy comes good though! AIB and ACC mugged him goodo a bit back and some reckon he must have rubbed them up the wrong way as those toadies normally treat the Good and the very rich a little more delicately. Obviously beneath the charming exterior Old Red is a rough thug when the going gets tough. Matt Cooper's book on him was very good and wonder if the old man will put pen to paper now he has more time on his hands. Said not to be full of health or happiness these days but his insights would make for interesting reading one thinks! Who will get The barrel of 400 year old Bushmills residing in The Distillery with his name. Very Churchillian of them to include the title he paid dearly for..... | hermana3
27/3/2017 12:31 | I am sure Snr will not be left destitute, however, I find it sad that the trail he blazed has turned to a dusty track. As I have said before, one of my business heroes ... back in the day. | thevoid
27/3/2017 10:19 | I'm wondering have the sells started appearing this morning. I doubt that he has all that many shares left after ACC knifed him in the back a good while ago. T'would be a nice touch if another family member were to take them off his hands in an off market transaction. | funtimejonny
27/3/2017 10:09 | Hi FTJ, the timing of the selling of the PVR shares is of more interest to us on this board!! | abudhabi123
27/3/2017 09:54 | Hi Abu....Good old Steelwatch beat me to it! I would say that these paintings will probably go to Adams Auctioneers in St Stephens Green due to Irish interest in the man, though I would not rule out Sothebys or Christies either. You can bid on line if you don't want to go over on the day. | funtimejonny
27/3/2017 09:52 | Thank you Steel. I think the timing says a lot!!!! | abudhabi123
27/3/2017 09:52 | Abu,Wonder if they found the elusive "Monet". Mystery surrounds its whereabouts and we know the old boy has gone from being a worshipper of the buck to worshipping all things French. Seaenergy's adminstrator shipped their LOGP stake so the administrator shouldn't have too many shipping the remains of our former benefactor's stake here. | hermana3
27/3/2017 09:42 | Abu - "shortly" | steelwatch
27/3/2017 09:31 | Good morning FTJ. Did the report say when Sir Anthony's shares are going to be sold? | abudhabi123
27/3/2017 09:31 | Boom boom tish :) | 1cagney
27/3/2017 09:28 | I could always do with a bit more Monet (in me wallet)! | funtimejonny
27/3/2017 09:12 | He has a very fetching Monet if anyone's interested. | 1cagney
27/3/2017 09:08 | I take it ye'll be off down to Adams on the day with the auld cheque book then! | funtimejonny
27/3/2017 09:03 | FTJ,Ah that may be holding back the price! Didn't know if ACC had shipped all of "Old Red's shares" yet. The Art is a bit tasty and will be snapped by dem snobs out there who would enjoy telling visitors who the previous owner was.... | hermana3 |
